Chapter 173: Summer's End (2)

We continued to practice and tutor the students that showed up to the compound, which was slowly becoming a majority of the class over the span of an entire day, which Anko found to be a little annoying on her days off since she only wanted to indulge in sex whenever she wanted, but with Kurenai and I both spending a long amount of time with our students, she didn't get to indulge as much as she wanted to.

Besides her, Tsunade also seemed a little iffy about the large gathering of injury prone children training around the compound, making her stay inside her house and away from their prying eyes as best she could, especially now that she had revealed herself to the Hokage, informing him that she was, in fact, here inside Konoha once again.

That caused a stir inside the village as many of the Shinobi tried to get in touch with the legendary Sannin, which meant that when she brushed them off, they turned to me and tried to ingratiate themselves with me to get them in contact with her in hopes of gaining some counsel from her, which made our compound even busier as we were swarmed constantly.

Kakashi and some of the other Jonin were troublesome as they requested to be invited, which we simply couldn't decline lest we invite some ill will against ourselves from them, which would be even more troublesome.

That meant hosting a few dinners for those Jonin to come over and try and convince Tsunade to give them some advice or heal some of their old wounds, which made the blonde haired Senju Princess very irritated as she ate her meal.

It certainly didn't help that some of the Jonin that showed up were either arrogant, insufferable, or...

Well, Kurenai was giving Asuma a dry look as he spoke to her quietly off to the side, the two finally talking for the first time in years - years after they had been together intimately, when it was Kurenai's first time ever.

To say that it was awkward would be an understatement, and it was something that made Anko and I warily stare at the young Sarutobi Heir and former member of the Twelve Guardian Ninja, though we were thankful for Cameia as she sat at the table, her overwhelming Darkness Chakra filling the room as she occasionally warned the various Jonin to not act up lest she take care of them.

Those stiff, awkward dinners came to a close uneventful as the Senju Princess just ignored or declined everyone that approached her, slowly becoming more and more irate as the night went on before sending them back towards the table to stew in being rejected just like that.

When it all came to a close we were thankful for the uneventfulness, which made Tsunade sigh in relief as she took her bottle of wine and left the table, winking back at us all as she made her way to her house, which - admittedly - tantalized each of us as we watched the beautiful bombshell mature woman walk away, resulting in a rather... productive night amongst the four of us as we left her to her own devices.

Each day slowly crept by as we continued our preparations and trainings, with one of the best things happening being the slow acquisition of nature energy as the Hawks continued to show me how to harness and absorb the potent energy into my body, strengthening me and tempering my Chakra against itself as I learned how to more efficiently wield it, lowering the wastage of Chakra in some of my larger techniques.

The constant training was doing us all good as the summer slowly came to a close, and we made sure to even out our training with some breaks as we spent some time with the babies, playing and cuddling with them whenever we took a break so that we could recharge our minds and souls before getting back to it.

Finding those moments was always a blissful treat as we lounged around and enjoyed the moment with Akari, Riku, and Tomoe, all three of whom were getting along as well as they always were; Akari making trouble, Riku watching from afar, and Tomoe getting caught in the middle as she traveled to and from each of her older sisters.

Besides the monotony of training, Anko and Kurenai made sure to keep everything fresh and lively by either forcing Cameia to take them out or surprising me with a date, finding more and more places inside of Konoha for us to explore and admire whenever we felt like we needed time away from everything else.

All in all, besides meeting and adding Tsunade and Shizune into our compound, this summer was yet another summer that would be something that we'd look back on fondly as we got older.
