"It is the courage to continue that counts."

-Winston S. Churchill

From the other side of the palace, Reis subtly followed the queen's lady-in-waiting. The queen wasn't around and while she was absent; the lady had her chamber cleaned and asked the bedsheets to be changed and a tub of water be filled for her arrival.

"You must remember that when you don't accompany her highness, you must prepare for her arrival. She would need a bath and a clean chamber to come back to."

Reis knew that already. She had been following Ysabel around since they were children to know that.

'And I'm not here to learn,' Reis thought. 'I need to do a better job of spying or Ysabel will be disappointed.'

Although the former palace maid still didn't understand why Ysabel wanted to keep tabs on her mother's lady-in-waiting, she didn't want to do a poor job.
