Chapter 18

Jackson's POV

I immediately shifted into my wolf and I attack Lucifer who just dodges my attacks. This goes on for 5 minutes and each time Lucifer dodges my attack I get angrier. This happens until I freeze when I here Violet's voice.

"Jackson stop I am fine. Lucifer what the hell was that for? I didn't mean snap my neck to get my emotions back you idiot!" Violet says to me then proceeds to yell at Lucifer for snapping her neck.

Violet's POV

"I didn't really know any other way to get your emotions back quickly. I just went with the easy way. And look you are fine. No harm done? You were out for a bit longer then I thought you would though." Lucifer says to me a bit puzzled at the end looking at me quizzically. I notice Summer still out and I look at both Killian and Lucifer. I feel my eyes change colour probably to a bright vibrant red showing my anger.

"Out of the two of you who did that" I point to Summer "to her" I say getting angry.

"Killian" Everyone in the room either said or pointed to him.

"Killian you are very close to making me send you to hell all over again. This time I will let Cerberus have you as his new chew toy." I say to him feeling my demon side come out a bit.

"Okay what is wrong Violet? You aren't usually this easy to piss off and you are also loosing control a lot." Lucifer says to me noticing my change of personality.

"I think it has something to do with the fact that everyone in this room knows about Summer and I now no thanks to Killian and his antics. Even if Killian hadn't done what he did today I would have messed up again. The other night I accidently let slip that I knew Edward over there is a warrior and earlier that day I got to competitive with Jake and won a stupid race because the PE teacher had some how gotten notes of how far and fast I can run but I don't think even he knows the full extent. Maybe? I don't actually know. I also had to reveal both Summer and I to a member of Jacksons pack because she had trouble with Ruby over there.

I have also just found my mate who is an Alpha of his own pack. I have been trying to keep my emotions in check and keep my masks in check as well for the safety of both Jackson's pack and himself. You know what happened last time something happened to someone I loved. I can't let that happen again. Yes this time I am more powerful and in more control but I know as well as you do that if I loose my mate that will brake me and I most likely wont be able to be saved. We both know that if I do no one will be powerful enough to bring me back, the only person who might stand a chance to bring me back from… well you know would be Summer." I say to Lucifer. I know that he will understand that if I loose Jackson or get too emotionally attached to him and if he did die I would turn dark and into everyone's worse nightmare. If I did turn dark only Summer would possibly stand a chance to bring me back and snap me out of it. The only other chance to possibly bring me back from going dark would be if I had kids but if I did have kids they would forever be in danger.

"We wouldn't let that happen Violet. No one that loves you would let that happen to you. I know you have lost a loved one before but that wasn't your fault. It was theirs. They did that to push you and Summer. Look at how strong you both have come. You, Violet are stronger then ever and the most powerful individual. You may now only have Summer as your blood but you have others that love you like family. You and Summer will always have Balto, Hades, Killian and I. I think you will also find family in this pack as well." Lucifer says to me making feel better knowing his words are true.

"Thanks Lucifer, ohh speaking of you know… have you or Hades found anything on his whereabouts?" I ask hopefully knowing it's a long shot and by the look on both Killian and Lucifer's faces I know what the answer is and I just sigh.

"How hard can it be to find someone that is dead? There are only two places they can go. Either hell or heaven, either he is a demon or an angle." I say to them getting a bit angry again.

"There is another way." Lucifer said quietly.

"That isn't possible though! J died in my arms." I say to him.

"Maybe but did the connection you to ever truly leave?" Lucifer said thinking.

"Yes!" I said annoyed.

"Really because I don't think it did." Lucifer said.

"Yes I am sure. I am sure I felt it broken though.." I say and trail off thinking.

"What are they talking about and who?" Jake asked Killian.

"They are talking about someone that was very close to Violet and Summer. Violet and Summer had a brother. Actually he was Violet's twin. They apparently didn't look alike. The brother was apparently only a werewolf. He wasn't a hybrid like his sisters. Or so they say to us. He died in Violet's arms when the war was going on. Violet and her twin did have a special connection that, when he died Violet got a sudden surge of power that she didn't mean to release and it ended the war that was going on because it killed all the enemies. It also knocked the people that weren't the enemies unconscious. Only Violet and Summer know what his name is or well was. They are also the only ones that knew what he looked like. But I think that because of the amount of pain it caused for both sisters and the amount of time that has passed, they cant or wont recognise him if he is somehow alive. We are trying to see if we can find him in hell or even heaven." Killian says to Jake. Jake just stands there shocked like he has seen a ghost but then he seems to shake it off. Jackson looks over at Jake and just looks in doubt and shakes his head like he is answering a silent question that Jake wants to ask.

"Jackson can we bring both Ruby and Balto into your office and we can talk in there? I would like to get this meeting over with so I can figure out what stupid stunt Lucifer pulled to get Hades so worked up to the point of needing my help. Then you and I can talk properly because I know you have been wanting to since you found out that I am your mate." I say to Jackson.

"Sure you can bring Balto and Ruby in, lets go it's this way." Jackson says to all of us. This includes Jake, Chris, Edward, Killian, Lucifer who is carrying Balto, Summer who looks tired, and I carry Ruby in. I notice Summer has a few smaller injuries that I just heal buy saying a simply healing spell. When Summer notices that I healed her she glared at me.

'You didn't have to do that now your more hurt. But thank you.' Summer says to me in our mind-link whilst we were walking.

"You were hurt what did you want me to do leave you like that? Nope not happening if I can help it." I say accidently out loud.

"Violet did you do what I think you did?" Lucifer says to me and I just sighed and nod my head knowing already he knows I healed her.

"Yes and I don't care about the consequence as long as Summer isn't hurt its fine. Its not like I wont be completely healed within the next 5 hours." I say but then realised I said 5 hours instead of 2 hours.

"Violet!" Summer, Killian and Lucifer all shout at me. I wince at that.

"What's wrong?" Edward says to us. I look at Killian, Lucifer and Summer pleadingly, shaking my head in a no gesture.

"Nothing is wrong. Those three are just over reacting to something. No big deal." I say in a rush.

"We are not over reacting. We are just worried about you. You didn't let anyone close enough to hurt you in that fight so your healing shouldn't be 5 hours." Killian said to me.

"Plus you took longer then usual to wake up from me snapping your neck. Again sorry about that." Lucifer said to me.

"Wait. Jackson did Violet get hurt in the fight this morning?" Summer said.

"Which fight this morning there was two. The first one with the first rogues or the one with Jake and some of our pack members?" Jackson said looking at us worried.

"Both." Said Summer. We arrive in Jackson's office now and Lucifer, Killian and Summer are all on one of the couches. Jackson is in his chair behind his deck. Jake, Chris and Edward are on another couch. I start to walk over to sit between Lucifer and Summer. When I sat between the two I winced a bit in pain as I have only just started to notice that I injured my self more then I had thought.

I start to feel a bit lightheaded and rest my head on Lucifer's shoulder. I hear Jackson growl a bit when I rested my head on Lucifer but I just ignore him, as I am too sore to deal with him now. I slightly move my hand to my side and I felt a broken rib and I feel my hand damp soaked with blood.

'Shit, what is wrong Val?' I ask Valarie.

'I don't know all I know is that we are physically weak right now' Valarie said back to me.

'Okay so we are both weak and cant heal properly. That's okay we will just rest more then and not push ourselves.' I say to Valarie in our mind-link and she just agrees with me.

"So Lucifer what did you do to piss your brother off?" I ask him.

"Well let's see if I remember correctly. I think the first thing was that Persephone decided to leave Hades for a mortal human. Lucifer didn't know about this and on the same day Persephone left Hades, Lucifer asked Hades where Persephone was because he noticed the lack of her absence. Hades thought that Lucifer knew that Persephone had left so he got annoyed that Lucifer had brought up that she left him. A few days later Lucifer had accidently let Cerberus out and lost him. You know how Hades would have reacted to Cerberus being out. Lucifer then eventually found the giant dog and brought him back but Cerberus was injured somehow so Hades has now gone full on rage with Lucifer. Well it's not just those two things but they were the breaking point for Hades I think. He hasn't really been the same since you and Summer left without telling him. He actually hasn't come up here to look for you guys since the first month you both left. Since then Hades has had a shorter temper and what not." Killian said and I just sigh. Great now this is going to be annoying to fix. Hope Hades forgives me.

"So you, Lucifer basically want me to go back to hell and visit your brother I take it? And then try to talk to him when he is angry at me for leaving?" I ask Lucifer who just nods his head.

"Yes exactly that. That is a better plan then I had thought of actually." Lucifer said to me happily and I just groan in protest.

"Lucifer!" I groan at him and flop back against the couch. This obviously made my injuries hurt more and I wince slightly from the pain. Luckily no one has noticed that I am in pain or that I have winced yet.

"So you Lucifer, want my mate Violet, to go to hell to face Hades who isn't happy with her and as an added bonus he is also not happy with you at all Lucifer?" Jackson asks Lucifer who again just nods.

"I don't think this is a good idea Lucifer." I say to him not particularly wanting to go back to hell even if it is to see Hades.

"Whyyyy Vi Vi pleeeaaase." Killian said well whined to me and I just glared at him and he shut up instantly.

"Can I think about it? The whole being down there wont be fun or good. Also I don't know how Hades will react to suddenly seeing me for the first time in years." I say to both Lucifer and Killian, but I mainly say it to Lucifer.

"Fine you can but don't take to long it isn't fun down there anymore." Lucifer said to me and I just nod my head.

"Oh whilst I think of it how did you, Killian get all those rogu.. sorry demons up here and did the fight have to be on my pack land?" Jackson asked the group.

"Oh right that. I managed to get all the demons from hell and help them escape from there so they could help me out with getting Violet's attention. They didn't know the cons of coming with me. So them being sent back to hell was easy." Killian said happily to Jackson.

"Right is that normal?" Jake asked all of us.

"For Killian to be happy that he deceived demons? Yes, yes it is." I said with my eyes closed because of the amount of pain I am in, and my voice comes out a bit weaker as l feel a bit more lightheaded then I thought.

"Okay then, is there anything else we need to discuss before the meeting is over?" Edward asks.

"Yes there is. Violet sit up properly and move your hand off your side." Lucifer demands me as I have my hand still on my side. I do as asked as I know that I have been caught with my injuries. When I start to move to sit up, everything went black.
