Chapter 41: The Owner's Identity

“They have good taste in furniture and décor,” Julietta commented.

“It could be Urella,” Jimmy remarked. “She has a refined taste for such things.”

“Let’s hide behind that wall,” Julietta gestured towards a garden wall near the castle building.

“Alright then, no one will see us there,” Jimmy agreed.

“What did you mean by saying that you were once powerful?” Julietta asked when they stood against the wall.

“Well, we had houses and land as well as political power before Urella’s business people took over,” Jimmy responded.

“Does she have interests in the business world?” Julietta asked, amazed.

“That’s how she makes her money,” Jimmy replied.

“Then it’s legitimate,” Julietta commented.

“Legitimate, but unfair,” Jimmy responded. “She got some large investments into her crockery and furniture company.”

“Why is it unfair?” Julietta asked in confusion. “And how did she make you lose everything?”
