After our walk at the pier, Tyler and I grabbed a quick dinner near the docks and then went to the close-by grocery store for chips and dip before returning to the penthouse. Tyler placed his key in the door and unlocked it, pushing it open and letting me inside.
He followed in behind me and tossed the keys on the island counter, then proceeded to take off his jacket and placed it on the back of the bar stools.
“I’m going to hop in the shower and change, and then if you’re down for it, maybe we can toss on a movie?”
I turned to him and smiled. “I’d like that. I’ll get everything ready?”
“Sounds like a plan,” Tyler said, shooting a wink in my direction, which still sent off alarms in me, making my face change to a noticeable red. Thank God he was already halfway down the hallway when it happened.
