Sammy felt nervous as she sat with the other interns in the boardroom where they had gathered the first time. Today they would be announcing the top four to continue in the race at being made permanent. Was it fair that she was sitting here yet she wasn't going to be here for long after her pregnancy secret came out?

"The judges will be in to announce the names shortly. Samantha, please go to the kitchen and bring the bottled water for the judges and your fellow interns. If you don't mind also bringing some of the snacks already plated onto the platters," Ruth said as she smirked at her.
