Bonus Chapter: An excerpt from Freyya’s notebook about the Elder Gods (2/3)

Maykavar (black Maykin):

Location: Unknown [It's the same with the white Maykin God. I don't know where the guy is.]

Gender: Unknown [Male – silver eyed]

Alternate Title: God of Dreams. The Mad God. God of Chaos.

Powers: Unknown [The point of his powers is that… there is no point. I mean, there's no predicting what he CAN and CAN'T do day to day.]

Soul Realm:

'Mayvar' means 'imagine', or 'think'. Hence, it's easy to guess what this Realm is. It's most commonly known as the 'Dream Realm', since people's minds slip here while they're dreaming.

Most people, however, don't realize they're in the Dream Realm while they're here, since this realm exists within your mind, and it's a place of your own creation.

There are certain techniques known by mages on certain worlds that allows them to be fully aware in this place.

For those who ARE fully conscious here, they'll find that this place is very… chaotic. It's a Realm entirely shaped by thought, so people with powerful minds easily shape the landscape here.

---------------------

Maykala (grey Maykin, bronze eyed):

Location: Unknown [Somewhere with Mr.'s Maywyn and Mayvar]

Gender: Unknown [Artifact Spirit – genderless – bronze eyed]

Alternate Titles: Unknown [God of Memory.]

Powers: Unknown [Can hold any amount of… anything, really. Can also diminish May – making people stupider and/or more crazy around it… among other things.]

Soul Realm:

'La' is the absence of something. 'Mayla' is the absence of Mayvar & Maywyn. Hence, this is a place that can't be imagined. It's utter incomprehensibility.

(A/N: If Cthulhu had a home, it would come from Maykala.)

Because this place can't be thought of or imagined, it obviously can't be described with mere words, nor can it be properly remembered. Hence, no one knows anything about it – even the people who've been there before. Details about it are impossible to record.

Thus, despite this place being known to exist, and despite people having been here before, no one knows a concrete way to get here, nor do they know what it's like. It's a realm enveloped in complete madness.

---------------------

Yiirkawyn (white Yiirkin, golden eyed):

Location: Speculated to be in the center of the World Tree. [That's, like, totally wrong.]

Gender: Unknown. [Female – golden eyed]

Alternate Names: God of Space [Excuse me? I can move through space too.] [You should've added 'Goddess of Fate.']

Powers: Can be anywhere and Everywhere at the same time. Distance means nothing to this creature. [I'll tell her that you called her a creature.] [You guys seem to keep on wanting to separate Time and Space. Those two things are one and the same. She's the Goddess of Fate! – Unchanging, and unbending Time. I won't bother explaining this to you.]

Soul Realm:

'Yiirwyn' means 'place', or 'location'. 'Yiirkawyn' means 'Everywhere'. Hence, the Realm of Yiirkawyn is the dimension where the World Tree is planted. The World tree, of course, connects to every habitable world.

Every inch of ground in Yiirkawyn connects to a place in some other Realm. The path you walk on or the roads you take here could also spit you out anywhere.

Basically, this place is a hub between all space. If you come to this dimension, walk somewhere else, then leave this dimension, you'll find yourself in a separate place entirely. This realm is basically a short-cut to everywhere.

Because Yiirkawyn is "Everywhere", then that means this dimension connects to every other Realm – even the ones that nobody has been to before, or the ones that people think are impossible to go to.

The sun in the sky here connects to Drakavar's Realm, since that is where energy comes from. The ground surface connects to Drakawyn. The empty space between the atmosphere and the sun is Drakala.

Any bodies of water you find here (rivers, lakes, and oceans) connects to Rehkavar and Rehkawyn. No one has found the entrance to Rehkala, though it must exist somewhere…

No one has found the entrance to Maykawyn. Maykavar is in the air currents. The entrance to Maykavar shifts and changes all the time, so you have to be lucky enough to wiggle your way in. Maykala's entrance is also unknown.

Yiirkala's Realm is Nowhere, and Nowhere is a place that shouldn't exist. Hence, you can't get here… Yiirkavar's Realm is the only other place you can't reach through Yiirkawyn.

Felkavar's Realm is reached through the World Tree's leaves. Felkawyn's Realm is reached through the World Tree's roots. Felkala's Realm is reached in the parts of the World Tree that have rotted and died.

Sylkavar's Realm is reached at the top of the World Tree – the very outermost branches. Sylkawyn's Realm is found in the World Tree's core – it's interior. The way to find Sylkala's Realm is unknown.

Arkavar's Realm is the stars in the sky of Yiirkawyn – each star being every individual's Soul Realm. They say that this canvas of stars stretches all the way around Yiirkawyn, like a giant globe. The entrance to Arkawyn's Realm (at least, from Yiirkawyn) is unknown. Arkala doesn't have a Soul Realm, so don't bother looking for its entrance.

---------------------

Yiirkavar (black Yiirkin, silver eyed):

Location: Unknown [Sitting on the log next to you]

Gender: Male (silver eyed)

Alternate Titles: God of Time [That's wrong. I don't like it. Don't ever call me that.] [Just call me the God of Luck.] [Also, don't call me 'Yiirkavar', please? That title makes me uncomfortable. Just call me 'Bob' something – make something up!]

Powers: [I can be anywhere and everywhere, just like my counterpart. Unlike her, I can travel and see into possible futures, whereas she seems to think that Destiny is some all poweful force with only 1 outcome. Grr. She's so annoying.]

Soul Realm: [I don't feel like correcting everything that's wrong about this, though I'm surprised how much you got right.]

'Yiirvar' is 'events', 'time', and 'happenings'. Hence, Yiirkavar is the Realm of Timelines and Fate. It's said that only the Yiirkin race can come here freely, though even them are restricted to only go to certain sections. Most of this Realm is strictly off-limits and kept for Yiirkavar himself.

No one seems to agree on what Yiirkavar's Realm actually looks like, since every visitor here seems to see it at a different point in time. The mountains and continents move slowly, so every visitor here will see the landscape slightly differently. Forests pop up and disappear, and rivers change course.

Entrances to Yiirkavar pop up quite randomly. You could be a normal, magicless traveler going to the next town when suddenly, you pass through a forest and find that this isn't the forest you remember.

Since entrances are rare, but random, people often stumble in here, only to never find their way out. It's also often hard to tell if you even ARE here.

One way to know if you've stumbled into Yiirkawyn is the time of day. You see, time here works on the whims of Yiirkawyn himself. A single day could last thousands of years, yet the night could last a few minutes. It's all seemingly random.

One will also find seemingly random monuments or libraries – anything that records Significant Events. Events with a lot of Significance will leave SOME distinguishable mark in this Realm.

When one DOES stumble into this realm, and if they ever manage to find a way out, then it's almost guaranteed that you've stumbled into a timeline you're unfamiliar with.

---------------------

Yiirkala (grey Yiirkin, bronze eyed):

Location: Unknown [In the Realm of Nowhere]

Gender: Unknown [Artifact Spirit – genderless – bronze eyed]

Alternate Titles: Unknown [God of Eternity, God of Cycles, God of Nowhere, Sh#t face]

Powers: Unknown [This thing tends to loop time around into giant circle. It's an insufferable wimp who can't get over it's own nostalgia, and it always tries to relive the same moments over and over again. You can't tell me how many times I've lived through Drakavar destroying the universe because of this stupid thing. If you find it, go slap it or something.]

Soul Realm:

'Yiirla' means 'nowhere'. The land of Nowhere, as the name suggests, doesn't exist anywhere.

[A little secret from Yiirkavar… but just find places that shouldn't exist. There, you'll find Nowhere. The plains surrounding the World Tree stretch out infinitely far. Yet, if you find the edge of these plains, you'll see a great cliff dropping off into the deepest blackness from whence nothing returns.]

---------------------

---------------------

Felkawyn (white phoenix, bronze eyed):

Location: In the Spirit World between the borders of the Living and Dead Realms [Sort of. That's one of Felkawyn's countless avatars. It's true body is in Felkala's hair; it's a hairpin.]

Gender: Genderless (Artifact Spirit – bronze eyed)

Alternate Titles: God of Alchemy, Phoenix God, God of Death. [Given name – Len]

Powers: Can remake anything. Can alter anything into something else.

Soul Realm:

'Felwyn' means 'transformation', or 'remaking'. Every single aspect or Trait of everything that exists is kept here. Every time something transforms or is converted to something else, part of its soul passes through this Realm.

When you eat a chicken, the chicken's meat is turned into protein, calories, and poop. While this is happening, the chicken's soul briefly touches the Felwyn Realm, and it is REMADE into something else. All changes happen the same way.

Basically, this Soul Realm reaches into everything, and exists within all of us. The only way to come into the Realm itself is through invitation; in other words, you can't come here unless the White Phoenix wants you to come in.

---------------------

Felkavar (black phoenix, bronze eyed):

Location: Unknown [It's true body is a black gem, which is later carved into a black dagger. Right now, it's worn by Felkala at her waist.]

Gender: Genderless – Artifact Spirit – Bronze eyed

Alternate Titles: Unknown [Given name – Shar.]

Powers: Unknown [Can diminish or expand anything to any proportions.]

Soul Realm:

'Felvar' means 'Exchanging', 'taking', or 'giving'. It's the art of addition and subtraction. When you eat a chicken, you're adding the chicken's flesh to your own body. It's a necessary thing that everything needs to survive.

As for what it's like in Felkavar's Realm… no one knows. People have gone in there, but they've never come out again. Hence, Freyya couldn't find any information about it.
