"You are the ugly one."

Lola Hussey, with a weak voice but a serious expression, asked again, "Can't you tell me the truth? How do you know?"

"Because I know everything."

"Goodbye then."

She then hung up the video call, leaving Fitzroy Sullivan looking bewildered on the other end.

Lola's head started to hurt again.

She pressed her temples.

But her head was not injured in this accident, and she didn't even have a scratch on her head. Why did she always suffer from headaches?

Hearing the door open, she slowly turned around.

"Why are you up?"

Ethan Ainsley came in quickly, his voice solemn.

Jones and Edith panicked when they saw Mr. Ainsley enter because they had helped Miss Hussey out of bed without permission. Although they knew they would be scolded, they couldn't refuse Miss Hussey's request.

"Don't blame them. It was my idea to get up. I feel pain all over my body when I lie down. Maybe it's psychological, but I don't feel it when I stand." Lola spoke softly, still sounding weak.
