Skylar Hampton stood up leisurely, looking as if he was laughing at her.
He brushed his long legs breezily to reveal a large swath of smooth skin and seductive charm through a split in the garment. "You think I would care? Even if all the investors withdrew their funding, do you think I would care? Or rather, do you think I look like someone who would care?"
At this point, Skylar's expression became particularly twisted, speaking loudly, "Lola Hussey, you will apologize to me!"
Lola Hussey tilted her head, "Alright, I'll wait for your apology. But whether I accept it or not is another matter. Be ready to answer your phone."
The timing was indeed perfect.
As soon as Lola finished speaking, the phone inside Skylar's handbag, lying on the coffee table, rang.
As the phone rang, Skylar froze in place. Lola Hussey picked up the bag, opened it, took out the phone and handed it over to him, "Your phone."
Skylar Hampton was motionless.
