"Don't do this."

No matter what she said, Ethan Ainsley was turning a deaf ear.

He squeezed in, closed the door, and locked it.

Lola Hussey tried to open her door, but Ethan pulled her back, locking the other door at the same time. Lola could now do nothing, trapped and unable to reach the front.

"I need to calm down. Therefore, I do not want to see you. You lied to me, you deceived me."

She kept pushing him, wishing she could push him out of the car immediately.

Ethan sat still, letting her rave.

He allowed her to hit and scold him but wouldn't let her out. After a while, Lola grew tired and gradually quieted down, finally retreating to one side. Thinking about something, tears began to fall.

Lola felt thoroughly wronged. Her tears were like broken strands of boba, never stopping.

Whenever she cried, Ethan's heart ached.

He had thought that once she calmed down, things would improve, but instead, she began to cry and he felt at a loss. So, naturally, he had to comfort her first.
