His tone was gentle, and every word fell clearly into her ears.
Lola Hussey took a deep breath, and a relieved expression appeared on her face: "I know, but your arrangements have put me in the spotlight, making me a conspicuous figure."
"Is there something wrong with being in the spotlight?" Sullivan asked back.
His question left Lola speechless for a moment.
Sullivan slowly stood up, then leaned on the table with his arms and leaned down to her: "Lola, I want to support you, I'm happy to support you, and I'm willing to support you wholeheartedly. You just need to be yourself, and I'll take care of everything else, okay?"
Lola couldn't find the words to respond.
