Bloody rain and gory wind

Upon hearing Ethan Ainsley mention her name on the phone, Lola Hussey looked at him with a puzzled expression.

My wife is pregnant and cannot answer the phone?

What was so inconvenient about answering the phone while pregnant? She wasn't deaf and unable to answer calls. Lola Hussey was very curious and listened carefully to what he was discussing.

But Ethan Ainsley had already hung up the phone!

She asked, "Who was that on the phone?".

Ethan Ainsley replied, "Danny Sullivan."

"Does he want to see me again?" Lola Hussey followed and asked behind Ethan Ainsley.

Ethan Ainsley stopped abruptly, nearly causing her to collide with him. Fortunately, she stopped just in time, only staring at his broad back. He then turned around and looked down at her, asking, "Do you want to see him?".

Lola shook her head.

Seeing that his expression had changed subtly, she immediately understood his emotions.
