Wedding Dance

With the way his eyes always radiated, Ezekiel was unable to conceal the truth that he was the happiest man alive. His eyes were so full of love and adoration for his bride that he no longer felt the need to conceal it as he continued to gaze upon her. Finally, he was able to call the person he had loved his entire life; Savannah felt the same way. Alaric cheered for his little brother as he stood back and observed them. Following the ceremony and ceremonies, the bride and groom were to greet the Myrtle Kingdom residents who had waited to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds. As the pair came down the aisle, attendees began showering them with flower petals and blessing them. They began by making their way to the balcony, where all of the national people had congregated outside the palace. As soon as the new couple emerged in front of them, everyone began yelling praise, and the pair waved back and thanked them for always being there for them and supporting them. The Josen kingdom's prosperity was never hidden from anyone, and their alliance with the north elevated them to the position of most powerful kingdom. Even for the residents who were now free to trade between these regions, this marriage proved to be the best union made.

Alaric couldn't keep his emotions hidden any longer, and a tear streamed down his cheeks. He brushed his tear away with his thumb, but King Larson noticed.

"Is everything okay, King Alaric?"

"Oh, no, it's only..." He took a little stop to gaze at his brother. "I can't believe it's been 5 years since my wedding. Looking around, it feels like yesterday."

"Understandable." King Larson placed a reassuring touch on his shoulders. "By the way, how's Diona?"

"She must be doing well, but I'm sure she's feeling bored." Alaric laughed. "She is easily bored." He stated, and King Larson responded with a nod.

It was now time for the bride and groom to ride in the royal carriage throughout the city as a pair and get blessings. The carriage was florally decorated and ready for a short ride. Savannah tenderly wrapped her left hand around Ezekiel's arm as he escorted her to the carriage. Because the carriage cabin was a little higher off the ground, steps were installed through the entryway. Ezekiel, being the gentleman that he was, gave his hand to help the princess get on the carriage, then followed her. A large number of guards and military were both leading and following them. It was both entertaining and dangerous to learn of the marriage of two mighty kingdoms. Enemies were on high alert, ready to strike at the most inopportune moment. As a result, security was tight around both the castle and the nation. King Larson and Alaric remained in the castle to prepare for the evening ball festivities.

And as the carriage began to move, Ezekiel's anxiety increased due to his lack of experience interacting with people. In those situations, he would always go to his brother to calm himself down, so he found it difficult to share his anxiety with Savannah. And he tried to hide it by not showing it on his face. Savannah, on the other hand, was the missing piece in Ezekiel's puzzle. With a single glance, she knew exactly how Ezekiel was feeling, and she placed a comforting hand on his. Ezekiel was astonished, but he didn't move his hands; instead, his eyes widened.

"Is this not appropriate?" Savannah murmured, believing he didn't like her gesture, and began to take her hand away.

"No, that's not it." Ezekiel swiftly shook his head and took her hands in his, a little too abruptly. "I was just caught off guard."

"I understand, even though I'm unfamiliar with things, however..." She took a breather and gave him a sweet gaze. "I'm willing to take a chance." They both smiled, and Ezekiel soon found solace in her. They talked for a long about how they used to play together as youngsters and how they met. The carriage went about the small town because it would take two days to reach north if they traveled at maximum speed without stopping. The carriage soon made its way back to the castle as the evening sky began to illuminate the horizon. The townspeople were led out of the castle after the ceremony, and it was now time for the royal ball dance. Following the customary first dance between the bride and groom, King Larson and his daughter perform their final dance.

After some relaxation, the bride and groom were instructed to change into more comfortable after-party attire. Savannah changed into a lovely beige satin gown that embraced her contours firmly but tenderly. Her hair was styled in a half-up, half-down look with exquisite pearl embellishments that resembled stars on her dark and long hair. a diamond necklace to match her gown She wore them with baby pink heels. The prince, on the other hand, changed into a lovely body-fitting white tunic with a royal blue buttoned-up jacket and black leggings, all combined with black boots.

The guests had already assembled in the hall that had been adorned for dancing, with an orchestra playing in the background. To keep the guests entertained, a few dancers were hired who danced and sang soothing songs. Guests were handed drinks and refreshments as they discussed how nicely everything went and how eager they were to see the first dance. As the party continued, Alaric and King Larson exchanged a few words with the priest.

The bride and the groom then appeared shortly after. They descended the carpeted stairs and entered the hallway. They appeared to be the most beautiful couple ever, and the visitors looked in wonder at them. Alaric and King Larson smiled as they saw Prince Ezekiel gently lead Princess Savannah to the dance floor while holding her hand. Ezekiel and Savannah took a position in the center of the room as King Larson nodded in a nice manner. Everyone waited for them to share their first dance as the dancers quickly vacated the floor.

"Nervous?" Savannah asked Ezekiel as they faced one other, her right hand on his shoulder and her left hand on his hand. Ezekiel smiled through his nerves as they stood very close for the first time.

"Really very," Ezekiel said, gulping hard and causing his Adam's apple to bounce up and down. Savannah, who was closely examining his face, giggled slightly.

"Me, too," she admitted, making direct eye contact with the prince. "Lead the way, my prince." When she greeted Ezekiel as "my prince," he felt a surge of adrenaline and his cheeks flushed a brighter pink. He began to lead the steps slowly and gracefully, and Savannah followed suit. For a brief period, Ezekiel closed his eyes, recalling his brother's advice from the night before.

"I'm anxious, brother." For the nth time, Ezekiel exclaimed. Alaric sprang up from his seat with a huff and a heavy sigh. He moved in the direction of his brother, who was standing in the corner of the room, gasping for air. His hands were placed on his brother's shoulders as he moved his sibling gently to face him.

"It's acceptable to be anxious. Since we only ever experience these things once in a lifetime, no one can adequately prepare for them."

"But during your wedding, you seemed confident."

"But only I knew how anxious I was, and Diona's gaze was making it worse. Nevertheless, my man, enjoy this experience and this time as much as you can since it will live on in your memories. " Alaric gave his brother a hug and patted his shoulders.

As the couple danced smoothly and Ezekiel swiftly hoisted Savannah for a twirl, everything gradually began to feel normal. The event happened without a hitch, and the visitors applauded while admiring the excellent performance. Some guests eventually joined them on the floor. The delight of orchestral music and rhythmic steps filled the hall. It was soon time for the father-daughter dance. King Larson walked over to the couple. A loud thud prevented Ezekiel from extending Savannah's hand after bowing before the king. Everyone glanced in the direction of the door where the sound was coming from as the symphonic music stopped. All eyes were wide open as they observed a handful of the guards standing behind a very exhausted man who was hunched over gripping his knees and breathing loudly. King Alaric was shocked to realize that the guy wearing the Josen kingdom's clothing was in fact one of his own guards. King Alaric was gently approaching him when the man got to his feet and made eye contact with him.

"Your majesty, the queen." The man spoke once his breathing got even.
