Yellow flower

"Have you seen Coco, Mr. Levin?" As she spoke, Aura's gaze wandered across the corridor. The advisor, Mr. Levin, knelt down to her level and followed her roving glance to the left and right. "Mr. Levin." She complained while stamping her feet.

"Wouldn't that be considered cheating?" Looking at Aura, who was sulking, Mr. Levin questioned. "Hmm, now that I think about it..." He put his index finger on his chin to pretend he was pondering and looked about till he saw Coco. Coco motioned to Mr. Levin from behind the curtains not to reveal where he was hiding. "Where could he possibly be? I have no idea." Mr. Levin simply shook his shoulders and got to his feet.

"You could have let me know that sooner." Aura whined.

Then, how was I supposed to observe the face of that little grumpus'? Mr. Levin fluffed her hair and she whined loudly again, which made him laugh. Aura was stroking her long hair, which her mother had spent a lot of time styling, while Coco sneaked up behind her. Mr. Levin then gave him the all-clear with a signal, and Coco yelled.

"BOO." The surprising sound made Aura withdraw and yell with a slight hop, causing both men to laugh heartily.

"This is wrong. You helped him." Aura grumbled as she looked at Mr. Levin, who was having difficulty suppressing his laughter. Her face was as red as a tomato as she glared and put her hands on her hips. She turned to face Coco while heeling over, flailing her arms and attempting to strike him with her small hands. She hardly raised her little frame over Coco's knees. Then, after laughing through each blow, Coco picked her up and spun her around. Mr. Levin smiled as he noted how quickly they became friends and how they became comfortable with one another in a month.

Since Coco first showed up in the palace, a month had passed. Ezekiel trusted his brother's judgment and never questioned or even had the slightest doubt about him. Additionally, Coco has only been adorable since his arrival. He was so naïve that he even tolerated the discomfort of his healing treatments. It wasn't anything dangerous; the healers didn't tamper with the potent protecting barrier. They merely ensure every week that the vice spell remains sealed inside the ethereal cage and has no impact. Coco experienced a couple seizures and a nosebleed, but unlike the previous occasion, he did not vomit blood. Coco had a voice but couldn't talk, making it difficult for the healers to find a cure.

Aura kept giggling in Coco's hold as he tickled her with his free hand. "Coco, stop." She squealed, her cheeks warmed up from the continual giggling, and she clutched Coco's hand. " Let's play again, but this time I'll hide and you'll have to find me". After putting her down and smiling, Coco bowed dramatically as if to say, "Yes, your highness."

"I ought to return to work." Mr. Levin murmured and turned around. The royal doctor and a guard ran in their direction from the end of the corridor as soon as he made a single stride. For a brief while, Mr. Levin frowned and wondered whether they were there for Coco. 'But where are the healers?' he wondered. As soon as they approached the intersection, they made a left turn towards Savannah's room.

"Mama." Aura mumbled as her gaze was drawn to the doctor. When she attempted to pursue them, Coco stopped her. His grip was firm but gentle in order not to injure the princess. "Coco, leave; I need to see Mama." But Coco refused to let go.

"Doctors have come to examine her, princess. Just be patient. Hmmm… " Mr. Levin stated as he stooped down to look at the worried princess. "Can you do it for your Mama?" Aura reluctantly nodded.

"Papa." When she noticed Ezekiel running in their direction, she yelled. Mr. Levin got to his feet and enquired as to what was wrong.

"Hey, princess mama is alright, just a little under the weather." In order to meet Aura's eyes, Ezekiel knelt down, and she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck. As he gently massaged her back, Ezekiel reassured her that everything would be fine. "Me and Mr. Levin will check on her; in the meantime, why don't you get Coco to help you make something for your mother to give her when she wakes?""

"Anything?

"Yeah, the one with the flowers you always make." Aura nodded as she took hold of Coco's finger. "Okay, Coco, look after her, and Mr. Levin, let's leave." Mr. Levin followed Ezekiel as he jumped up and dashed for the mentioned chamber after giving Aura one final look.

Coco escorted Aura to the gardens, where they sat on the lusher grass. Aura had picked a few bright flowers and green foliage and was tying their ends together with a delicate vine. Coco couldn't help but adore her as she asked him to hold a few flowers while she focused on the aforementioned present. Coco was seated with his legs crossed and his elbows resting on them while he maintained an open hand while holding a few weeds and little flowers in it. Coco followed Aura everywhere she went, keeping a safe distance between them so the princess wouldn't run into him and trip and fall. "Which one do you prefer?" She showed him the two flowers she was holding in each hand—one yellow and one white. Coco took a long, thoughtful look at each blossom. "Come on, hurry up." She grumbled that Coco was taking too long, or perhaps I should say that our princess was getting irritated. Coco quickly nodded and pointed at the yellow flower. "All right, I'll fix the white one." Upon hearing her words, Coco's face fell, but he overlooked it because she was only a child.

She chuckled after a little while of twisting and rounding the petioles of flowers. "All done, how is it?" She asked, clutching the flower tiara she had crafted. The tendrils and petals were shifting from their original placements; thus, it wasn't quite done properly. As one of the blooms dropped to the ground, her face dropped. "It always falls like this." Coco took the tiara as he saw her dejected expression and tied the flower with cyanodon grass. Aura exclaimed in shock at the secure tiara and picked it up to have a look. "Thank you, Coco."

"Princess." As soon as Aura and Coco turned to look towards the direction of the voice, they noticed Mr. Levin walking toward them while beaming more broadly. "Your mother is awake; would you like to meet her?" Aura got to her feet and happily nodded her head. Mr. Levin smiled as his eyes landed on the flower tiara. "Is it a present for your mother? She will be delighted to see that." Aura accepted Mr. Levin's hand that he had extended for her and proceeded inside the castle with Coco trailing behind, his lips pursed into a thin line.

As Aura grew impatient to meet her mother, she noticed for the first time that the hallways were endless. As soon as the door opened, she hurried inside to see her mother lying on the bed and her father sitting on a chair next to her, holding her hand, with smiles on their faces. The damsel and doctor were both grinning broadly as they stood by the bed. Savannah flung up her arms for Aura as soon as she entered the space and Aura rushed to give her a bear hug. "I was worried about you." Savannah saw Mr. levin and Coco standing nearby the door.

She cried out while clinging to Savannah, who gave her a tender pat. " Look, Coco helped me make this tiara, too. She showed her the tiara as Ezekiel carried Aura on his lap. Savannah stooped to allow Aura to put it on her head. "It's small."

"But it's beautiful." Savannah caressed Aura's head lovingly when she noticed her face become sad. "But perhaps it would fit someone else?" She whispered her words. Ezekiel laughed as Aura's expression changed to one of perplexity.

"But I made it especially for you." She made a small whining noise.

"I won't mind sharing it with your sibling, do you mind, papa?" Savannah turned her gaze towards Ezekiel who grinned and shook his head as she asked him.

"Sibling."

"Your sibling, yes, Princess."

"Where is she/he?" Everyone chuckled at that.

"Princess, you must have patience as it can take some time for them to arrive. The baby is growing inside of Mama's womb and will do so for some time." Aura glanced between Ezekiel and Savannah before turning her attention to Savannah's belly. She escaped her father's hold and sat next to her mother. She grinned as she placed the tiara over Savannah's stomach while admiring it.

"I'll be here for you, little one. Grow up well inside." She gave Savannah a belly hug. Everyone in the room began to cry slightly as a result of her small gesture. They were beginning to worry about how they would tell her about this just a moment ago. And how she'll respond to this, but as soon as they saw Aura's warm acceptance, all of their concerns disappeared. "Now you rest mama, the baby says he needs to sleep." Aura briefly hugged Savannah and Ezekiel while observing Coco and Mr. Levin leave the chamber.

"Coco." Aura shouted. At the end of the hallway, Coco was about to turn when her voice stopped him in his tracks. When he turned around, Aura was approaching him. She motioned for him to bend down; Coco was perplexed, but he nevertheless bowed. Aura pulled something from her pockets: a yellow flower folded into a ring. When did she made that? He wondered. She smiled and whispered as she extended her arms and placed the yellow on Coco's palm. "You got it because you liked it." Aura sprinted away as Coco contemplated what he had heard.
