I got up from my seat and walked over to my window. there they were. I could easily spot them, they were looking around taking in their surroundings. They didn't look that bad. They looked just like us. I stood there and looked at them when I saw a little girl staring at me. She was obviously from the black moon pack. She was standing in the middle of them all.
I smiled at her and from what I could see she was smiling back. I turned around and looked at my little sister.
"let's go," I said and stretched out my hand for her to take it. We walked down the stairs together me being very careful and didn't want her to fall.
When we came down we were met by our parents who were standing by the front door. they looked at us and smiled. we walked over to them and hugged them.
"Bella what I'm about to tell you is very important." my father said with a serious voice.
"Okay," I said with a hesitant voice. To be honest I didn't want to know what he was about to tell me. I knew it was something about me going out for the first time.
"Your mother and I are gonna walk out there and in the meantime, you are gonna stay here and watch over max and aurora, okay?" he asked more like a question than a demand.
I nodded and he smiled. I looked at my mother who was looking at me with one of her proud mother smiles. She walked closer to me and pulled me in for a hug. It was nice, it had been a long time since I hugged her last. We pulled away and stood smiling at each other.
"You are one pretty girl, and i'm so proud to be able to call you my daughter and future alpha. I love you Arabella" My mom said getting teary eyes.
My dad took his arm around my mother's waist and smiled at me before they started walking out. I could feel it now, I was nervous. The first time I'm gonna feel the wind. The first time i'm gonna touch the ground. I looked at my two siblings who were surprisingly acting formal it was the first time had seen them so polite.
I looked out the window and saw my parents on the little 'stage' that was outside. I could see they were talking but i couldn't hear them. I walked over to the door and opened it slightly. At that moment I smelled the most amazing smell. I sniffed the air and took in my surroundings. I looked at my mother who was looking at me.
I quickly closed the door and giggled.
Not soon after five of the warrior wolves came and opened the door. They bowed their heads in respect. my brother went out the door first and was followed by my sister, Aurora, when they reached the stage my father began speaking again.
"Now I know that most of you think that this is the entire family, but there is one person who is missing. I would like you all to meet my eldest daughter Arabella." my father finished his sentence with my name and I knew I had to go out now. I looked at him and took a deep breath, and before I knew, I was on my way to the stage surrounded by 4 guards.
And I know why 4 guards and well that's because I'm pretty important you know soon-to-be alpha.... just kidding...or not really. I walked over to the stage where my father was standing with his hand out for me to take.
I walked over to the stairs and took his hand and walked up and was blown away when I was everybody was looking at me. My mother came over to me and gave me a confident smile. I smiled back and walked with my father over to the middle of the stage. Once I turned around and all the wolves could see me the murmurs began. People were talking and to be honest it was annoying.
I looked around trying to find out where the smell I had smelt before was coming from it smelled good. It smelled like chocolate and cinnamon. I looked around when my eyes landed on a pair of almost black ones. There it was the smell that smelled so good, came from that guy. I looked around him and saw he was in front of the black moon pack. I looked back at him and was captivated by the shine of his eyes. He was tall, tanned skin, and had dark almost black hair.
My world stopped when i realized who he was. MATE. It was the only thing I heard, I kept reading it. It couldn't, I didn't want a mate. Why now? and is it just me or is he a part of the black moon pack? I was snapped out of my thoughts when my father put his hand on my back and guided me down from the stage. I hadn't realized he had been talking all that time. One thing I knew was that I couldn't meet him. I couldn't touch him. I couldn't be with him.
