Chapter Five

LIA POV

"Shut up. Did I tell you to make noise?"

"No."

"Can you guys... help me?" Right now, I can't speak loudly. Only God knows how much strength it took to utter those words. I could feel my heartbeat rising. I try to remain calm because the last thing I want is to faint.

"Master, what did she say? Gay or gas? And what does it even mean?"

"Hehe aahhhh!! FUCK, this hurts like a bitch!" I muttered under my breath, as I stopped myself from laughing. I don't know what kind of fucked up situation this is?

"We are busy women. Ask someone else for help."

"PLEASEEEE!! I beg you." As I started to feel drowsy. Before I understood anything, I passed out.

I can feel someone tending to my injuries. I sucked in a mouthful of air from the sudden pain. It hurts so much. I want to open my eyes and see who is helping me.

"Hmmm, interesting. You don't have spiritual power, so you are not Mahabala, but I never saw a beast who looks like us. But even beasts also have spiritual power. What creature is she? Should I take her home to experiment? or should I..."

I was left utterly speechless after hearing all of this. Like, seriously, what kind of crazy situation did I just stumble into? But hey, gotta keep my cool, can't risk fainting again!

But I guess my body had different thoughts as I fainted once again.

"Master!!! MASTER!!! MASTEEERRR!!! FINALLLLYYY, you are awake!!!"

"Freaking stop it. Otherwise, my head will explode."

"Sorry."

As I reluctantly opened my eyes, I expected to see some normal surroundings or maybe some quirky scientist's lab, but nope! Instead, I found myself standing on a freaking cloud. Yeah, you heard it right, a fluffy, floating cloud. This has got to be a dream or some bizarre hallucination.

"Master!"

"Oh, so you're calling me 'master' now, huh? Well, I must say, it's the first time I've been addressed as such by a cute, talking cloud," I retorted, trying to keep my sarcasm in check.

"Master, don't mess around. I've been waiting for you for ages, and now you're acting all clueless?" the cloud, whom I aptly named 'Cloudy,' replied.

"Oh, sure thing, Cloudy. I've been on a quest to find cute talking clouds all my life, and now my dream has finally come true!" I replied sarcastically, raising an eyebrow.

Cloudy seemed pretty dejected after my response, but I couldn't just play along with his delusions, could I? I mean, come on, a talking cloud who calls me 'master'? This is some next-level fantasy stuff.

"Alright, spill the beans, Cloudy. How the heck did I end up on this cloud and in this heavenly world of yours?" I asked, feigning curiosity.

Cloudy went on to explain some mind-boggling stuff about sage levels, godly powers, and being blessed by a deity named Bodhin. Oh, and apparently, I have the power of creation, which I conveniently used to create this whole world and Cloudy himself. Totally normal, right?

"Oh, yes, of course! I remember creating worlds and adorable talking clouds in my free time. Silly me for forgetting," I said, dripping with sarcasm.

Cloudy didn't seem to mind my sarcasm one bit and just continued with his heartfelt revelations about our bond and his reliance on me for survival. I gotta give him credit for being loyal, but this whole situation is just too much to handle.

"I must be the luckiest person alive, creating my own universe and making a devoted cloud friend. Move over, gods, here comes the new deity in town!" I quipped.

Cloudy started to tear up and asked why I left them. I felt a pang of guilt, but hey, I don't remember any of this! Can't blame me for forgetting my imaginary cloud creation, right?

"Well, Cloudy, you know how it is. Life gets busy, and cloud creation is quite a demanding job, you know," I said with a smirk.

Eventually, I asked about a way to save my body and leave this dreamy land. Cloudy mentioned something about saying 'exit' to go outside. Man, I wish real-life issues could be solved with just a word.

"So, all I need to do is say 'exit,' and I'll be back to the good ol' boring world? Sounds like a magical vacation package," I remarked.

Cloudy also mentioned that I don't have much time left before the medicine's effect wears off. Medicine? Great, now I'm a patient in my own fantasy realm.

"Ah, yes, the magical medicine. Must be some top-notch stuff to keep my body together while I'm lost in this dreamland," I said, rolling my eyes.

I thanked Cloudy for everything and promised to be back later, although I was starting to wonder if this whole experience was just a result of eating too much cheese before bedtime.

As Cloudy suggested, I closed my eyes to sense my surroundings. Honestly, I felt pretty ridiculous, but hey, let's play along with the cloud's game.

"Alright, I'm feeling it. I'm sensing the inner aura of this fluffy cloud universe. My life's purpose has reached new heights!" I sarcastically declared.

After a while, nothing seemed to happen, and I opened my eyes expecting nothing but more clouds. But boy, was I in for a surprise.
