Humiliation and Auction

Ling Feng entered the courtyard gracefully, on entering his eyes met with Fei Tian and the next person sitting with her was Zheng Yao.

Anger welled up in Ling Feng's heart sighing inwardly he walked beside his father and sat down, then Ling Shi spoke and said "What brings you here today? coincidentally Ling Feng is here so you can proceed and say what you want to say"

The first elder from her family stood up and said " Ling Shi we are here to call off the engagement between Fei Tian and Ling Feng, as we have gotten a better candidate who will become Elite disciples of the Flying Dragon Sect, so therefore we have to cancel the engagement because Ling Feng here is still at the second star of the Spirit Condensing Stage"

Ling Shi rose up in anger and shouted " Don't insult my son, just because you have a better candidate that will become an Elite disciples of the Flying Dragon Sect!"

The First Elder said " We are not here to argue with you or fight with you , we are just saying we are cancelling the engagement"

"And by cancelling the engagement you want us to loose face in front of everyone" said Ling Shi

As the first elder was about to speak, Ling Feng stood up and said " There is no need to banter words about you want to cancel the engagement? Fine, I give my consent "

As Ling Feng finished his sentence , everyone in the courtyard widened their eyes in disbelief at his last sentence because it was unlike Ling Feng.

Ling Shi leaned on his side and whispered to Ling Feng " Are you confident about this?"

Ling Feng leaned over and said " trust me father, I won't disappoint you"

Ling Feng walked up to Fei Tian and leaned over and whispered in her ears and said " Remember on this day that I Ling Feng will pay the reward back for trying to kill me!"

Walking up to Zhen Yao, Ling Feng slapped him on the cheek and said " I will pay back this humiliation in three months time"

Zhen Yao gritted his teeth and was about to retaliate when the first elder leaned and whispered " Three months".

Ling Feng walked out of the courtyard and proceeded outside of the palace to venture out, putting on a black robe over his body , he needed to find a place to refine pills so that he could sell them for money so he went out following the road to the city.

Outside of the Azure Spirit house which was the chamber of commerce for most of the auctions been held in the entire of the Northern continent, it was a very popular place which was well known for its reputation and way of doing business. Ling Feng had spirit techniques that he wanted to sell, these techniques he wanted to sell were obviously for the previous owner of this body and Ling Feng deemed the techniques useless as their grades were way too low to use.

At the front desk, a pretty lady full of smiles whose name was Xue Mei said" What do you want to sell sir?" Ling Feng just casually brought out some Di class techniques, the lady who was in full anticipation that she could get a valuable treasure was down cast at the sight of these treasures. Xue Mei disdainfully looked at Ling Feng who was covered in a black robe and said disdainfully " The auction for Third class treasured has started already you may proceed as we sell these treasures".

Ling Feng was surprised that the techniques would be auctioned at the third class level, In every auction house there were division of levels in which you could auction items which were :

Third Class level

Second Class level

First class level

VIP level

Diamond Jade Level which was the highest level in the lower Realms

Ling Feng just shrugged his shoulders and sat down scanning the shabby hall where they held the auction.

The Auction had come to an end there was nothing eye Catching for Ling Feng to buy, In the end the treasures Ling Feng brought were only sold for 10,000 lower grade spirit stones, Ling Feng left the auction house still poor.

Ling Feng left and ventured In to the wild to practice more of his own techniques from his past life, he felt he could not continue to rely on the orbs of light and wanted to train without any help.

Ling Feng decided to start practicing his alchemy while he was outside, but first of all he needed to check thee kind of bloodline he had ever since he knew he had a pure bloodline, he never bothered to check which type of bloodline it was. This was one of the things he needed to consider before cultivating anyhow.

Ling Feng decided to go back home when he entered he remembered he had forgot to collect the materials that he had asked his father to get for him. Striding across the hall way into his father's room, Ling Feng knocked and entered the room seeing no one was there he saw the ingredients on the table, he just picked it up left a note for his father saying he had taken it On going out he met his father in the hall way walking towards his room when Ling Shi suddenly brought out a pill "Ling Feng take this pill, it is a tier 3 Condensing pill you can use it to breakthrough to two stars!"

Ling Feng cupped his hands towards Ling Shi, Ling Shi casually waved his hand and bid him a good night

" I just hope you can do well in the star realm competition!" Ling Shi sighed inwardly.
