Chap. 2 After The Heartbreak

The news of Bryan's refusal to Stacey spread quickly in the school environment. The source of gossip in cyberspace is no less exciting; from Whatsapp groups to Instagram, the news headlines only contain the love story of two cold people who became idols at school.

Bryan was very uncomfortable knowing rumours about him, and he pretended to stay cool in the face of cheap gossip because Stacey, who was most cornered, was also silent. Even Stacey and her two best friends just disappeared because they skipped school. It's strange because Stacey's track record has been clean of truancy so far.

School hours are finally over. The students rushed out of the classroom to return to their homes.

After taking the physics competition material from the office, Bryan went straight to the parking lot to get his motorbike. Jack, Roney, and Max were surprised to see Bryan in such a hurry to leave them without saying goodbye or hanging out casually like they always had.

"Bryan, where are you going?" Max shouted.

"What's wrong with Bryan? How come he looks colder than usual." Rooney nodded while frowning.

"Leave it alone; his parents must come home after a month in Europe." Jack guessed.

"Poor, an only child who lacks love is only given excess material." Max's monologue.

Finally, they disbanded and returned to their homes because their gang leader had already left the school grounds.

Bryan pulled his motorbike to the side of the road after a notification entered his cellphone.

Bryan : [ Okay, watch her before I arrive ]

[ Ready ]

After reading the message, Bryan rushed toward the Galaxy club. After learning that Stacey skipped school, Bryan immediately contacted a paid informant who was ordered to monitor Stacey's whereabouts.

"Where she is?"

"It's in the corner, Boss, drinking."

"What do you give her?"

"Light dose of beer, boss, I wanted to give you a soda, but I was afraid that she would suspect. Two of her friends ordered a soda, and she ordered a martini. It's hazardous if she is drunk to be touched by a player."

"Okay, thanks. You can go; I'll transfer the fee later."

"Thank you, need help, just call my friend Roy. That chubby bartender."

In the corner, Clara and Zack are still loyal to accompany Stacey, who is heartbroken. Instead of Stacey lamenting Bryan's refusal, Stacey just needed a short vent when she was in a bad mood. Because before deciding to confess her love to Bryan, Stacey was ready for the possibility of being rejected.

"What the hell? Netizens ask their mouths to be tied; they just type as they please." Clara said, checking her social media account.

"What did they write, honey?" asked Zack.

Hahaha, it's okay." Clara grimaced as she glanced at Stacey. Stacey understands but does not care about the conversation between her two friends.

"Have you already deactivated my social media account?" Stacey stared intently at Clara for an answer.

"Yes, I've turned it off since I saw you fail." Clara grinned timidly.

"Good job; this is why I've had two drinks, but how come I'm not drunk yet?"

"Stacey's enough. Don't overdo it, or getting drunk can get really bad." prevent Clara.

"That's right, Stacey. If you get caught, your brother, it can be dangerous, you know."

"You two are so noisy. What's the point of me asking you guys, spending a lot of money to buy a change of clothes, treats, and food. If it's no use. I'm inviting you two just in case I get drunk. It's your job to take care of me safely home, understand! "

"But …?"

"What…, tsk… my brother went abroad following the contest. Mom, Dad, in the city of Riviera to visit my sick grandfather."

"Tsk… it's okay. Forget that you're a perfectionist. Everything is calculated before it's executed." Clara pouted.

"Including you will be rejected, Bryan?" Zack was getting more and more curious.

"Instead of being happy, I'm even dizzier because of your sarcasm. I can't get drunk; I'd better go down and dance." Stacey danced as she swayed her body gracefully to the music's rhythm. Clara and Zack flinched in surprise, remembering their job of escorting Stacey.

"Clara quickly catches up with Stacey; she'll be gone. It's terrible if somebody takes her away and rapes her." Zack shuddered.

"Come on, hun, don't let it go away; we will get into trouble." Clara grabbed Zack's hand, following Stacey on the dance floor.

Bryan cursed several times in annoyance in the corner because he saw Stacey dancing erotically and inviting naughty stares from club visitors. "Shit, your heart hurts so much, Stacey, that you're going crazy at the club. You stubborn girl, your ego is too high. Why did you confess your love in public? I can't understand about that girl."

On the disco floor, Stacey begins to be teased by naughty clubgoers. They caught the frustrated look on Stacey's face.

"Girl, may I join?" A grim-looking man began to lean his body towards Stacey.

Stacey rolled her eyes fiercely. "Don't stick around. Get out of my way!"

"Mean girl, how dare you!" The man took Stacey's hand.

Clara and Zack, who saw Stacey about to be harassed, immediately ran to save the girl. "Wait, dude, don't bother her; she has a disease." Clara lied.

"What do you want to do, young lady? Oh, do you want to join us? The masher stepped forward and grabbed Clara's nose. Zack, who did not accept his girlfriend being touched, immediately became furious.

"Before Zack had time to beat up the man who had touched Clara, his body staggered backwards due to the sudden attack of the opponent.

"Stacey and Clara screamed.

Before any further fighting, Roy had come into their midst to break up. "Calm down, buddy, don't make a fuss here. We'd better have a happy chat upstairs. We have a lot of beautiful girls to entertain." Roy offered.

"Okay, offer accepted." Said the troublemaker while coding his men to come upstairs.

Zack held his bloodied temple; his head spun from the perverted man's punch earlier.

"Oh my, honey, your head is bleeding." Clara wept for her lover, who was hurt.

"It's okay; I don't want you to be touched by another guy." groaned Zack.

"Love you more, Zack." Clara rushed to hug Zack and kissed his right cheek.

"It's already midnight. By the way, sorry for making trouble for you. Let's go home; I don't want to be here anymore. Stop by the nearest clinic to treat your boyfriend's wound, Clara."

"Come on quickly; I'm scared my boyfriend's face is damaged." Clara was so worried.

"You don't have to be dramatic. Your boyfriend's face is as hard as the wall; it won't break if it's just a little scratch." Stacey glanced at Zack.

"Heartless, my face is bruised like this still says it's just blisters. Clara, it hurt." Zack spoiled Clara.

"Yes, honey, let's get treatment, let's go." Clara comforted Zack while blowing his temples. Stacey rolled her eyes lazily.

As the three of them left the club, the man who hit Zack unexpectedly followed them secretly. The man was still curious about Stacey; the alcohol possessed him made his brain not accept if he had to let Stacey go without tasting her body. The man was determined to get Stacey tonight; sneakily, the man immediately hugged Stacey from behind.

Stacey was startled and screamed. The man covered Stacey's mouth and tried to kiss her smooth cheek.

"Let go of me, bastard!" Stacey struggled as she looked away, trying to avoid the man's kiss.

"No one can resist a will, BERNARD; I want you tonight." The man emphasized his name to emphasize that he was the most powerful in this area.

"Dude, relax, calm down, relax, we'll have a good talk." Clara cooed, hoping Stacey would be released soon.

"Don't try to ask for help or call the police, or I'll touch your girlfriend before touching her." Bernard threatened Zack after seeing the movement of the boy's hand reaching for the cellphone in his trouser pocket. The two embraced, shuddering in horror as they thought of ways to help Stacey.

"Let go of her, bastard!" someone wearing a red hoodie approached them.
