Chapter 3 Looking for the Bride

Lindsay had a long dream in which she was entangled and cooperated with a man whose face could not be seen clearly. Suddenly, Lindsay woke up and saw a pure white ceiling.

Lindsay subconsciously checked her body and found that she was well dressed. She just had a sweet dream. When she slowly looked away, she saw a very handsome man crawling on the edge of her bed and sleeping.

Lindsay was stunned by his sculptural features, good-looking eyebrows, and long eyelashes.

Lindsay suddenly remembered that it was this man who saved her yesterday!

This man didn't take advantage of her when she was in danger yesterday!

What was she thinking about! Lindsay suddenly blushed.

Thinking of her escape from the wedding yesterday, Lindsay decided to leave the ward as soon as possible and go back home to find her stepmother, Ina.

As soon as she stood up and left, she was grabbed by a powerful hand.

"I saved you. Are you going to leave without saying thank you?" Lindsay turned around and saw a pair of deep eyes staring at her seriously. She was embarrassed by the gaze and quickly patted her head and said:

"I'm sorry. I have something urgent to do and have to leave now. Thank you for saving me yesterday. I will repay you." "Oh? How are you going to repay me? Marry me?" The man said with a playful smile.

Lindsay rubbed her forehead and said seriously.

"I can give you anything you want except marrying you, killing, and setting a fire." She thought it was sincere enough.

Seeing the man's face darken, Lindsay continued.

"I was framed by my stepmother to marry a vegetable who had a car accident and was disfigured. I won't marry him even if I die. The situation was urgent yesterday. Thank you so much." Carter's mouth twitched.

'Oh? Even if you die, don't you marry me?'

Looking at Lindsay's serious look, Carter smiled playfully. Her eyes curved into the shape of a moon.

"Then you should go home with me to see my parents."

"What?"

This man's words were like a thunderclap. Lindsay thought that it was the first time they had met, and they were not familiar at all.

"Yesterday was my wedding. To save you, my finance ran away. I don't know how to explain it to my parents." After saying that, Carter looked sad and anxious, with disappointment in his eyes.

Seeing the man in front of her so sad, Lindsay felt indescribable guilt and heartache.

"Sorry, I didn't know it was your wedding yesterday..."

"Forget it. I think your wedding dress is very expensive. I'm afraid you don't like a poor boy like me at all." Carter added.

"I don't look down upon you!"

Lindsay looked at the man seriously. She didn't know the man's family condition at all. How could she dislike him so much?

Looking at Lindsay, Carter felt a little moved.

"Don't worry. I will pay you back for saving me. I will give you my phone number and you can contact me, okay?" "Okay," Carter answered.

The man smiled gently.

Lindsay quickly wrote down her phone number on the table, because she was so anxious that wrote the wrong number.

"Here you are. See you later."

Then Lindsay left in a hurry.

Looking at Lindsay's receding figure, Carter smiled.

It was so interesting.

Who would have thought that his bride would run away and fall into his hands again?

"Ding, ding, ding."

Carter took out his phone and answered it.

"Young master, where have you been? The bride ran away last night, and you, the bridegroom, were nowhere to be seen. How can you explain this to your parents?" Jerry's voice sounded very anxious.

Where else could I go? I was with the bride.

Carter thought proudly and replied.

"I'm fine. I'm looking for my bride."

Looking for your bride?

Jerry, the young master's assistant, was stunned. He didn't know what game he was playing.

"Yesterday, Miss Martha was supposed to get married, but the George family sent their unwelcome Miss Lindsay. I think we know what happened, but the bride ran away. They didn't take our Morgan family seriously!" Jerry's tone was full of anger. How dare they lie to the Morgan family like this? The George family must be tired of living!

"Go and break off the engagement with the George family."

Carter said indifferently, ignoring Jerry's anger.

"Oh my God, young master! You have no choice but to lose your spouse, not to break off the engagement. It will be surprising if the several members of the Morgan family know it." "She doesn't have to die this time. Prepare a broken car for me." "Young master, what are you doing?"

"Chasing my wife..."

On the other side, Lindsay was rushing home as fast as she could.

She was very angry at the thought that she had been framed to miss her wedding with her beloved David.

She must let her stepmother Ina and Sister Martha pay the price!

However, as soon as Lindsay arrived at the gate, she saw Martha holding David's arm intimately with gifts, and her father, George, and stepmother, Ina, came out to welcome them.

David's face was full of affection for Martha. From afar, they looked like a happy couple and their parents were harmonious!

Lindsay couldn't believe what she saw in her eyes was her beloved David... Before Lindsay came to herself.

A luxury car stopped in front of George's house.

Jerry got off the car arrogantly and threw a contract at George.

"Call off the engagement."
