Chapter 24 Delayed genocide (part 3)

Let's take a look at Rina, shall we?. She stood there confused, head tilted like a cat as she just stared at Nobe's not so alright figure, he was barely able to stand now, while standing straight as a pole. Since the Sub and main timelines don't affect space in anyway, by the way this all occurred in the same spatial field, Rina couldn't tell the difference since she isn't a time user.

'I did nothing. Why the hell did this guy bring me here?' Rina's confused face soon turned into an annoyed one as she glared at Nobe. 'At this point I can't do anything associated with Mono.' Rina has no romantic feelings towards Mono, he was the first person who didn't give a dam about her and this made her happy, the fact that she could have a friend who didn't see her for her status but Mono is sometimes socially inept, even now, although Rina sees him as her closed male friend, he sees her as a spy sent by the Patriarch of the house of space and a basic friend, sometimes, and as such anything that Rina can do to help him, he makes it 10 times harder for her to do anything.

It had grown to the point that Rina is became tired of it, so she only helps him out when she's able to, but Rina gets bored quick, so even though she can't really do anything to help, she'll still be there since it's always interesting, confusing and in this case life threatening.

Now back to the question, what happens when a time user experiences headaches caused by their element?.

First off I would like to inform you that the requirement for both users to become more in tune with their elements are different, for space, just use it a lot, actually, too much. As for time users, it's when they use it without being prepared to witness or affect time. The description for time users is a bit vague and why Is that? I hear some (Impatient & violent) ask. Well, it's because it varied in strength and experience.

Take Rina and Mono for example, Mono is stronger than Rina, so the time taken for Rina to get struck by a headache is shorter than Mono, why?, strength between space users is measured by one's understanding in space, if one's understanding is greater then they are less likely to get struck by headaches which, need I remind you, are a symbol of one becoming more in tune with their element.

Now for time users the requirement is 'when they use it without being prepared to witness or affect time.' This means that if a time user is more powerful, he/she won't be affected abruptly like Nobe was. Also, Nobe was affected by the passive activation of his element, this was done to save his life, and this too can happen to stronger time users and in fact it does, but that's a topic for another time. (Yeah, bad joke, I know.) in short the requirements differ in strength and for time users, with strength naturally comes experience.

Now what happens when a time user experiences headaches caused by their element? As shown by Nobe, once a time user experiences headaches caused by their element, as said earlier, they become more in tune with their element once this happens and as such, time users become unable to use mana and instead use time itself.

As mentioned before, Nobe was unable to know what part of his spell was affected, why? Because he didn't use mana to create it, it was created by time to affect time. Now if Nobe used mana t create the spell, yes he would have known what was changed and who the intruder was, but he would also, in the best-case scenario, pass out from mana deprivation before the spell would even be halfway done, and there is reason for this, and it involves Rina and Mono.

Nobe knew that if he used mana he would die, though he didn't know exactly how, he knew that mono would be the cause of it again and here's why. If mana was used in the spell's formation Nobe would be making a sub-space in which the sub-timeline shall reside, since time and space sort of sync with each other, is what most would be thinking. Though true it's not the case now, the reason as to why a sub-space would be formed by a time user has to do with the element, in actuality Nobe wouldn't be forming the subspace himself, the world would be doing it for him.

As to why, like I said it has to do with the element, since he would be making a sub timeline by using mana, there would be no self-sustenance and as such he would need to pour mana endlessly to keep it up, that mana would then be used to affect of become time to actually create the benefit of no contact and no interference from the main timeline as well as the selected area itself and keeping his allies inside, now as one could expect, that costs a lot of mana and he would need to be able to supply it at an endless fast rate as long as it's up.

Now here's the issue, since the rate is slow, the barrier of the sub-timeline would naturally collapse but if it did, something bad in the eyes of nature would happen but to explain this I need to explain the 'desire of existence' and 'what resides out of time and space' but briefly.

'The desire to live' is a phenomena discovered by Doctor Flake Raven, Emily's father, and his assistants Furu and Michael and more, but the main contents of the research aren't revealed to the public. The desire to live is pretty self-explanatory from the name but what carriers this desire, isn't not anything on earth because it already has life but where did it come from? Such questions were why this was researched in the first place.

For one, the desire to live is related to what resides out of space and time because 'those' that have the desire to live that reside out of time of space. Time and space in this aspect doesn't necessarily mean literally out of time and space, they are in time and space but out of the barrier that blankets our world, and I also don't mean utopia in this aspect either, l mean all we can explore in this universe and probably more.

There is obviously more but I'm gonna deprive you of that for now. Anyways, if the barrier of mana surrounding the sub-timeline did collapse, 'those' that reside out of time and space with the desire to live shall naturally try to take it and by the 'it' in this case it's The sub timeline Nobe has created. Once taken it shall then become a main timeline, since it has aspects of it (Get a better understanding of static progression and it's relation to the main timeline), and life shall then prevail there.

Of course, I'm skipping a lot of information, because its not relevant as for now, but 'those' things or whatever just taking the sub timeline would obviously not be nice when doing it, so use your imagination to guess. Now to prevent this mess, 'mother nature', arguably the strongest existence to date, is like no, to that happening and as such she implemented the mechanism in which if a time user is to do something like this the world around them would create the spatial field for them, that's as much as it shall do for them nothing more and nothing less.

That's why if Nobe used mana a sub-spatial field would be created. Now here's problem number 2, Mono, an unstable space user at the moment, being the one who would be in the sub-spatial field is unconsciously shifting and shattering space, would naturally break that sub- spatial field created by the world. One thing I didn't mention though is that the field created by the world is weak, there is literally little to no effort put into making it.

The 'sense' that Nobe got that he would die if he used mana was his existence warning him about his death, and that came from the one and only mother nature. I were to describe the feeling he felt at that moment I would reference it to the butterflies you get when your nervous but now they were across his entire body and instead of being gentle, they felt like the feeling you get in your legs when you on the toilet for too long and finally literally feeling something inside of you which isn't physical, slowly fading and it's this specific feeling that told Nobe that if he did use mana, no matter how long backflow was on for or no matter how many times he uses for sight, that he won't survive.
