CHAPTER EIGHTEEN : SUNDAY MORNING

Waking up, I felt sunshine covering my eyes.

I squint and groan, covering my closed eyes with my arms and slowly gets up from my bed.

Open my eyes and frown at the foreign place I now realised is my new home. I could see the wonderful view of the garden from my room. I see a fountain in the middle, a maze and garden o roses which the MacQuoid gardeners are currently taking care off.

Before I could put my legs over the bed, I hear a knock on the door and immediately I froze.

"Ma'am? Can I come in?"

The doors opens and behold a woman around my age enters. Wearing a full white dress with black apron uniform, she steps in smiling and nod at me.

"Hello ma'am. I am Hela. I'll be your personal maid for the rest of your stay."

I smile. "I ugh, I appreciate that, Hela but I don't think I need a… ugh maid. I am fine by my own."
