Jun Ching had a past relationship with a woman he once meet in a party held specially for him. It was such a joyous and memorable occasion that he will never forget.
But like any other couple, their relationship last only a year after when Jun Ching found out that the woman he plans to spent with for the rest of his life is someone who's actually married and even have a daughter at that. The woman whom he thought will be the mother of his future child only approaches him in hope to gain fame and wealth.
The truth caused Jun Ching's world to collapse. The event happened between them, the meet up, the relationship and the betrayal are all well planned. It crashed his heart into pieces. That's why Jun Ching never wanted to feel in love again. The pain made him vulnerable to the point that he becomes numb when it comes to love.
When Jun Ching reach his destination, he paid for the cab fare and get out of the car. He first adjusted his stuff before marching in the apartment building.
He was about to enter the building lounge when he saw a poster attached into the the glass wall that caught his attention. He squinted his eyes. He read the details written in the poster with caution. It says they are looking for a commercial space to open up a new coffee shop.
An idea strike his mind. That's right. A commercial space. Since his workshop is now permanently close and the location is surprisingly what they're looking for, it is a great opportunity. He can use it as a contractual lease. Why didn't he thought about it? With this, his financial problem will be solved and he wouldn't have to worry if he cannot found a buyer for his paintings.
But there's only one problem. Leasing his workshop is possible but the renovation and cleaning services needs to run by money. To hire people is easy but what about the payment? Where can he find someone who's willing to be unpaid? Is free services still credible?
How about borrowing a money from a loan shark? No, that's not quite possible. Those men are intolerable and their interest are sky rocket even their demands. He cannot possibly be living a peaceful life knowing there's eyes lurking around him.
How about an insurance company? Yes, it can be a way out but they need to atleast have a collateral exchange. But still a no, he cannot give up his apartment in exchange for money. Where will he live by then? And there's still a high possibility that they may not like his workshop because of how limited the space is.
With a lot in mind, Jun Ching take a picture of the poster. He can decide later of what he will do to make use of his workshop.
30 minutes later, Jun Ching arrived at his apartment. He put his stuff in the 2nd room where most of his art craft and paintings are placed. Then he went to his room, sit in the chair and open up his laptop. He took out his phone, open up the picture of the poster from earlier and zoom it in.
The details regarding the commercial space are written in full including the email address and contact information. But Jun Ching choose to use the email instead of the phone number.
Jun Ching is someone who used email more when it regards to work or personal accuracy. For him, it is more formal and sincere than using a phone.
Jun Ching contacted the provided email address. He stated his interest and benefits without giving hint of suspicion. The proposal he made makes it even more convincing that the other party replied immediately stating their urge to visit the said place.
Jun Ching was overjoyed. Now, what he will do next is to find a way to renovate the workshop. His last option was to used the money Li Yang gave him. But it might be only enough to pay for 3 or less people.
His head where about to explode. He close his laptop and decided to take a nap.
Before closing his eyes, he remember his past life where the was tormented with the child in his belly. Vomiting nonstop and having nausea everytime. Just like this, he also felt physically and mentally exhausted.
Jun Ching rubbed his stomach. Will there be a chance of conceiving again? If only he isn't foolish enough to sacrifice his life just to have an abortion, he sure would rather beg for a cent than to die painfully.
