Revelation

"I can't believe uncle Brian.... He did it!!!!" I cried out when Uncle Brian came into my office with police and said "she entered my house like a thief last night and took a very big and huge diamond necklace of my house!!!"

I knew what he was doing. I know now who murdered aunt lucy so, to stop me from telling anyone and anyone believing in me he did that.

The necklace was found from my office. Dave took the papers to keep it safe from his father. Those papers were divorce papers filed by Aunt Lucy reason that Uncle Brian was cheating on her with 3 other women and had many other bad habits. This was written on the diary and divorce paper kinda said everything.

I was arrested and taken to police station. I was put into prison because every proof was against me.

Dave came that night to prison and says "What really happened."

"Something did go wrong. But now we have prove that Uncle Brian did all of that and now you can take that to court."

"Yeah..... about that....."

"What happened?"

"Dad took those papers from me and burnt them."

"What!!!? Everything that we did now is useless."

Visiting hours were now over and I was taken back in.

Next day was Durga Dashami, I thought it through and figured out that everything was now in deep problem. Something bad was about to happen unless I reach to Uncle Brian tonight.

I was called in for more interrogation and my luck shone when James came in for interrogation.

"James listen to me, I need to go to puja ground now. If I don't something bad will happen and nobody will be able to stop it." I said in hope that he would be able to do something.

"Listen Ana, I don't understand but we have proofs against you and leaving you now? That's not possible."

"James try to understand and you know me, don't you? I have helped you even catch Leonard and you also know that your friend and I both won't lie."

"Well right now I want to ask you about this." James said while pushing a file of crime scene infront of me.

"Who is it?"

"It is the lawyer of Mennons. You said that Lucy Mennon filed divorce paperwork to the lawyer and now he is dead. What are the chances?"

"It has to be Brian Mennon."

"What!!!? That is ridiculous. "

"Tell me what will I get by killing him? And now you tell me that what will Brian Mennon get according my implication?"

James didn't say anything because he also thought that I didn't have any motive and this arrest was a little doubtful.

"Now you know how dangerous Brian Mennon is so let me out."

I blackmailed him a little and gave hum straight facts. He reached my hands to open my cuffs and said "Run when you have the chance but remember I will come behind you to get you back to your cell so you don't have much time."

I simply nodded and James went out to ask "who the hell left Ana's cuffs open." He moved a little forward to start the fire alarm which gave me a chance to run.

I ran out of the interrogation room and out of the station but I needed an appropriate dress to mix in the surroundings. I found a red white saare which is the traditional wear of this puja and ran to the puja ground.

The puja ground was crowded and I didn't know where to go when I saw a girl chasing Uncke Brian with gun. I followed them and ran as fast as I could in a saree.

James gave a call to Dave who was in the puja ground with Linda, Sandy and Daisy. He said that I ran away and everything that happened when Daisy said "Guys look." She pointed towards cops.

All the four of them followed the cops and me.

The cops were behind me. I knew something was about to happen, I just didn't guess that it would go to this extent. I ran and ran and ran like my life depended on it. I continued as fast as fast as I could in the saree, I was wearing.

I heard a voice "Stop!! Or else we will be forced to shoot. This is you warning."

It was the police behind me but I kept on running ignoring them because I can't stop now otherwise something might happen, something really bad.

Behind the police were my friends who were coming for me.

I saw the man and woman turn left which leads back to the road were the celebration going on.  I now thought "Just few more steps and everything of this will be finished…." My thought was interrupted when I felt a bang from my back.

The police reached me and above me was a cop who held me in a place and I had my hand pinned down on the ground.

He was cuffing me but all I was thinking was few more steps just few more steps. I heard a gunshot, along with me all the attention of the cops was also taken to that.

I was cuffed and every cop with there gun in hand went in that direction and now I thought, all the steps that I took for months was gone. I have no prove of anything whatsoever. I now definitely am about to be arrested.

Okay so back to the same place we started.... Now what happens? Who was the lady?.... Let's see what happens next...
