Discriminated

Bianca Irene Lee's POV

When we arrived at the place, there were already many students. We also earned a lot of attention because of our school's logo that is printed on the van's doors.

"RFA? Isn't that a rebel school? "

"Are they playing too?"

"They don't look like delinquents."

"They might just make a mess here."

"Just for formality maybe."

I looked at Lavalee because all we heard was negative.

Damn.

Can't they just shut their mouths?

"Students, let's go," Mrs. Conchia called us so we followed her to the registration table

"How many contestants do you have?" the facilitator asked

"Seven," Mrs. Conchia answered

"Seven? Can they do all the activities? " another facilitator asked

"Yes," Mrs. Conchia said proudly and we were told to write our names on the registration.

Of course Lavalee came first, then Chelsea, then Jess and me, Jaxith, Icarus, and Hendrix followed.

Mrs. Conchia divided the activities among us;

Math, Science, and Computer categories are for Chelsea.

English and Filipino are for Icarus.

History and Arts are for Hendrix.

Spelling and Values for Jaxith.

Music and Health for Lavalee, and Foreign Languages for me and Jess.

"Talia, Valerie, Blare, Jaxith, and Icarus, you will take care of volleyball this afternoon."

"Valerie, you will be Blare's doubles in table tennis on Wednesday while Jira, Jaxith, Hendrix, and Talia have badminton, you will take care of the quiz bees on those days."

"Icarus, you're Hendrix's substitute on Thursday because Arts and History quiz bees will be held at the same time. Jaxith, Icarus, Hendrix, you are in Men's basketball on Tuesday, and Valerie, Jira, and Blare are in Girl's Basketball."

Mrs. Conchia showed us our schedules while giving us instructions on our contests, which we took a photo of with our phones, before nodding.

"Is everything clear?" Mrs. Conchia asked

"Yes ma'am," we answered

"Good," she said and we went to our respective rooms.

Archery is my first sport today and since I was wearing a blazer on my way here, I took it off first.

I took a bow and arrow and stood up in my designated place.

"First round. 10 meters. "

I aimed the arrow at the bull's eye and waited for the signal. There were at least 50 delegates here, including me.

After receiving the signal, I released the arrow.

Two were eliminated in the second round because we all got 10 points while the others got 9.

"30 meters."

2 eliminated. 46 delegates left.

"40 meters."

3 eliminated. 43 delegates left.

"50 meters."

3 eliminated. 40 delegates left.

"60 meters."

4 eliminated. 36 delegates left.

"70 meters."

5 eliminated. 31 delegates left.

"80 meters."

5 eliminated. 26 delegates left.

"90 meters."

6 eliminated. 20 delegates left.

Suddenly, the boards were replaced and the bull's eye became smaller.

"Hard Level. 10 meters. "

5 eliminated. 15 delegates left.

"Hard Level. 20 meters. "

6 eliminated. 9 delegates left

"Hard Level. 30 meters. "

5 eliminated. 4 delegates left.

"Challenge. Shoot the arrow and make it pass the ring of fire. "

There are only four of us left and I will be the last to release my arrow because I am at the end.

"St. Ramiel Academy. 9 points. "

"Brown School. 8 points. "

"Hollows Academy. 9 points. "

I released my arrows and breathed heavily after I released it.

Everything seemed to turn slow motion in my eyes and the arrow hits the bull's eye.

"Red Fire Academy. 10 points. "

"Red Fire Academy wins!"

After that announcement, I went out of the room and left the bow and arrows.

I went to my next competition which is darts throwing.

This should be easy as a pie.

"She was Dencel's opponent earlier."

"Why is she here?"

"Blare," I looked at Mrs. Conchia when she called me

"Ma'am," I said and nodded slightly

"How was it?" that question.

"I won, how about them, Ma'am?" I replied politely

I know how to speak politely, I just don't use it with Tyrone, with my Dad.

"Jira's busy with her match in the other room, Talia already won her first quiz bee and she's about to win her next, Jaxith and Icarus, did well on theirs, same with Hendrix." She said

"How about Valerie, ma'am?" I asked when I didn't hear about Lavalee

"Well, she's still in the music room, they're composing a song about world peace." I almost laughed when I heard what Lavalee's topic is about.

World Peace?

Lavalee brings chaos and danger wherever she goes, I wonder how she'll handle that but I trust Lavalee, she acts professionally in everything she does, with no involvement of personal feelings.

"Good luck, Blare." Mrs. Conchia said before leaving

When we heard the trumpets, we positioned in our respective tables and waited until our names are called.

I managed to shoot the bull's eye of all the targets consecutively, our training under Frost was way harder than this.

"Brown School, 99 points."

"St. Ramiel Academy, 98 points."

"Hollows Academy, 98 points."

"Sacred Heart Academy, 99 points."

"Bulalo Integrated College, 97 points."

"Tisay City College, 96 points."

"Red Fire Academy, 100 points."

"Red Fire Academy wins!"

I saw Jess smirking at me when I went to the door.

"Hey, bitch," she said and gave me a high five

"How's your badminton match?" I asked her and she raised her brow

"A win then," I said

"So, where's our next match?" she asked

"Table tennis doubles," I said and we went to the table tennis room, a solo match had just finished.

I know that my clothes don't technically match the competition so I went to the locker room with my string bag.

I changed into a red and white sando and red shorts. I didn't bother changing my socks and changed my black shoes with my black converse. I was about to go out but I heard a group of girls talking outside.

"Oh my gosh! We will be facing the two people from RFA later."

"You know, they are the ones who fought in all sports this morning."

"Really? How many representatives does Red Fire Academy have?"

"There are only seven of them."

"That sounds unfair,"

I acted like nothing happen and went out of the cubicle. They seemed shocked to see that I'm here, and I heard them gossiping about us.

Gossipers.

"Hi. I believe I heard you mention our school name." I muttered emotionlessly

"Uh yeah. W-we're just wondering why you're always the ones we see. " the one with straight hair said

Liar. I can see through her lies because of her actions.

"Ah, uso tsuki," I said smiling

"Blare, what's taking you so long?" Jess said upon entering

"It's nothing, Jira. I just happen to overhear some girls gossiping about us. No need to worry. " I said with a streak of sarcasm

She raised an eyebrow at me before glaring at the ladies and we exited the locker room.

When the match started, we heard someone cheering for us from the bleachers. It's quite too easy to guess who it would be.

Lavalee.

We smirked and finished the game with a landslide.

"Red Fire Academy will advance to the next round!"

After that announcement, Lavalee walked up to us while clapping slowly.

"You did well, girls." She said and ran to us.

"You can shout, it's like you don't have to sing your composition?" I said but she just replied with a smile

"World peace? Do you even have a clue about that?" Jess teased her

"Duh! Of course, I know," Lavalee said and we left the table tennis room

Lavalee suddenly left when we were about to leave the room saying that she still had a contest in Health so Jess just shook our head, it looks like Lav really just wanted to greet us.

Suddenly, a professor approached us with some students.

"Hi, are you the representatives of the Red Fire Academy?" Jess and I looked at each other when the professor asked us that and the students behind him nodded.

Does he think he'll intimidate us by bringing students with him as he asks us?

No way!

We've been facing death since we were kids and we're more terrified of Frost actually.

"Yes, is there a matter, sir?" Jess said using the thick British accent that Lavalee taught us to use when we had undercover missions.

"No, I just want to ask, how many representatives did your school send? You see we have 20 students as representatives." The professor said

"Seven representatives, sir. Including us." I answered

"What are your names?" he asked so Jess and I looked at each other looking the same way.

This guy, whom I doubt is a real professor, is trying to fish information from us.

"Jira Han, 3rd-year Business Management," Jess responds in the tone we use when facing businessmen

"Blare Jang, 3rd-year Business Management," I answer in the same tone

The man swallowed a few times.

"If you don't mind, sir, we have to go ahead, we'll be late for our competition," I said before we both left

I saw that Jess was sighing because of the man's appearance earlier. He planned to intimidate us but he got intimidated instead.

We parted ways and went for our next competition, Jess will be competing in billiards while I would be joining the volleyball game. We saw Jaxith and Icarus along with Lavalee waiting for me.

"Took you so long," Jax complained

"At least I came," I said and we took our places in the court

Hollow Academy is our opponent and they will serve the ball. Lavalee received and spiked back. We only do defense even when we have the ball.

"Let's win this!" Lavalee ordered and we became serious.

Jaxith spiked the ball too hard and it wasn't received by the opponent.

Chelsea told us the coordinates for the trajectory of the ball to make sure that it won't be spiked back by the opponent and after several minutes, we were declared as winner with 33 - 22.

Of course, we aced it with the help of our teamwork.

When we came out of the court, we shook hands with the people of Hollows Academy, we know how to be sport though we always win.

If it wasn't for the intensive training we've gone through, there's no assurance that we'll win, but because of those trainings, our agility, reaction time, flexibility, and strength heightened.

We decided to meet in the food court to eat our lunch.

"I'm hungry." Jaxith complained

"When are you not?" Hendrix retorted to which Jaxith didn't reply to

"You can't complain, huh." I teased him

"I don't want to get my name stained," Jaxith reasoned out

"Don't worry, it won't matter even if our parents would like you or not because the decision is up to me." Hendrix said and we laughed when Jaxith's shoulder dropped

"Why?" Jaxith asked

"They're gone," Hendrix said lightly

"It really depends on the eldest when orphaned, huh?" Lavalee asked and we smiled because she suddenly looked nervous.

Lav is really strong, and in fighting to death she is not nervous. But in thinking about what could happen to her love life, she gets this nervous.

Wow, just wow.

"Yes, so those who have parents or the eldest are lucky." Hendrix said and Lav's shoulder fell

Icarus teasingly placed his arm on Lav's shoulder.

"Don't worry, Frost will like Jace." Icarus teased

"Baka! It's not about Dreice," Lava said and punched Icarus's arm

"Defensive," we teased her

"Congratulations," Mrs. Conchia said and behind her is Jess

"My match took so long but I won. Congrats," Jess said and we sat down at a table.

"Packed lunch!" Jaxith and Icarus tease Lav when Lav pulls out a lunchbox

Lavalee ignored them and seemed to have taken a photo of the lunch before eating.

"Snob," we teased

"I'm not. I just took the photo as a remembrance. " Lavalee said

"Remembrance of your cooking after many years?" Jaxith asked

"Then she should have taken a picture of the Chicken cordon bleu, if that's the reason," Jess said

"Remembrance of Jace cooking for you?" Chelsea suddenly asked

"Wait, you knew? " Lavalee asked her

Wait, what now?

That came from Jace?

What the heck ?!

They're confusing.

If I didn't know the situation with Lavalee, I would really put malice in their relationship.

"Ayiee~!" we teased and we saw Mrs. Conchia smile at us

"You're close." She commented and we nodded

"We have been friends with this red-haired lady for a long time. Ever since she was in Breakore. " Jaxith said and ruffled Lavalee's hair

"Bryan Jaxith," Lavalee complained and removed Jaxith's hand from her hair

After we ate, we just watched Lavalee, they made a poem about world peace and now they're putting a tone on it to perform it later.

They can call and they have soundproof cubicles. We are not allowed to approach them but they can call to search about world peace. There are also instruments that they can use.
