One Eighty

Everyone stood there in shock, especially Jackal. "So since he's immune, he could be the answer to our problem. I mean he could save the entire world if we figure out how he's immune!" Deacon said in excitement. Jackal and Deacon seemed to be the only one's excited about this information.

"Look I get that it may help but I'm not going to let any of my team get tested like a lab rat." Riot said in a stern tone. "Riot, but-" Jackal was quickly cut off by Riot gesturing for him to stay quiet.

"You need to listen to me though, if anything goes wrong it's only one life for millions if there's even a million left." Deacon raised his voice slightly, trying his best to convince Riot otherwise. However Riot was having none of it. He looked over at Jackal and shook his head.

"Don't listen to anything he says.." Riot silently pleaded. Jackal looked at the two, not knowing what he should do. As a final resort, Jackal turned his head to face Dozer. "What do you think, big guy?" he asked, hoping he would make the right decision.

"Hmm I think it's best you don't go. For all we know they'll dissect you like a frog-'' Dozer said. "Well, There's your answer." Jackal said, now facing Deacon. Deacon Sighed but decided its best not to get on they're nerves.

"Fine, I'll respect your decision but if you ever change your mind just tell me" He said. Jackal glanced over at Riot and back at Deacon, slightly nodding at Deacon in the process.

"Hey y'all we should finish setting this place up, it's starting to get dark and I'd rather we not get our butt's chewed off by the undead." Dozer suggested to the group. Riot chuckled at what Dozer had said but began helping him set the rest of the stuff up.

A few hours went by and everyone was asleep, except for Deacon. He fiddled with his gun for a little before standing up and walking up behind Jackal who was fast asleep. Deacon stood there watching him sleep before quickly shoving a thick cloth into his mouth and covering it with his hand.

Jackal's eyes shot open and began squirming around, trying to break free of his grasp. "Pipe down. If you dont quit i'll slit your throat along with everyone else in here." he whispered into Jackals ear. He began to calm down and waited for what he had to say next.

"Good, now you're going to do everything I tell you otherwise everyone in here dies. Now, I'm going to stand up, along with you and we're going to leave this place. You will not be taking any of your gear and don't bother trying to call for help, got it?" Deacon whispered once more. Jackal slowly nodded his head and they both stood up. Deacon made sure to walk behind Jackal with his hand over his mouth.

Once they were out of the building, Deacon quickly moved his hand off his mouth and held a gun to the back of his head. "Alright, get moving and don't try anything funny. I'm sorry it has to be this way but you're our only chance at survival." He said. Jackal began walking and Deacon followed closely behind, still with the gun aimed at his head.

"I'm sorry guys.."
