Chapter 11 Weapon of choice

"That's enough Nappa. Get down from there. You will take forever if I let you. I will finish him off myself." Vegeta told Nappa.

"Ridiculous. Having to trouble myself with something like Kakarrot." Vegeta said.

"....." goku didn't say anything.

"Curse you. Curse you. Making me surrender your execution to Vegeta." Nappa said.

"Well, you will be sorry that it happened. There is a reason why he was named after the planet itself. I will leave your execution to him but I will be taking them down before He could." Nappa said as he dashed towards gohan and Krillin.

"Gohan. Krillin," goku yelled out to warn them.

But as Nappa dashed towards them he noticed kai who was looking straight at him.

Then he was slashed in half by a katana.

Before he could even blink.

"That will take care of him." kai said as he put away his sword.

"Wait what. How did you get that katana?" Krillin asked Kai.

"Magic materialization. I studied under king kai for nearly two decades so I picked up a trick or two from him," he replied.

"But are you sure you want to tell us about that?" gohan asked.

"Why not? It's not like you can beat me even if you know exactly what I will do," he said as he knows that Krillin is weaker than him since he currently has to rely on goku to survive.

"I will even tell you one of my weaknesses if you want," he said with sheer confidence.

The truth is that he uses a weapon to handicap himself as he was more of a brawler.

"Are you guys alright?" goku said as he landed near them.

"... Why are you playing around? You are still not strong enough to play around with your opponents." Kai said as he warned goku.

"Hehe. Sorry about that I want to use kaioken as a last resort since it takes so much troll on my body." goku said while he smiled.

That guy killed Nappa in one blow.

I will be in trouble if he decided to join and attack me at the same time.

Vegeta thought as he looked at kai with his Scouter.

"Power level of 5000. Just like kakarrot. Look like I was worried about nothing." Vegeta let out a sigh of relief.

"Goku so you are going to fight him right," Krillin asked.

"Yeah." goku said as he looked at Vegeta.

"If you are going to fight him can you fight him somewhere else?" Krillin requested.

"Why?" goku asked.

"Do you want to turn your friend's into a mess? What if they come back to see their damaged body?" Krillin said.

"Krillin what do you mean. Piccolo is dead so there are no dragon balls. Nobody is ever coming back to life again." goku said.

".... Krillin is there a way?" gohan asked.

"I will explain it to you later after you beat him," Krillin replied.

"Yeah. I have to beat him first." goku said.

"Come on kakarrot. I don't get all day." Vegeta said.

After seeing Kai's power level with Scouter and not knowing about the existence of the Kaioken he was starting to get cocky again.

"All right. I will lead him somewhere. Wish me luck." goku said to the two.

"Goku I am sorry that I couldn't help you with a thing. You better not die, old friend." Krillin said.

"Yeah," goku replied.

"After this, I am taking you fishing." goku said as he ruffled Gohan's hair.

"You are going to watch me fight. Right?" goku asked kai.

"Of course, I will." kai replied.

"But still thank you and king kai for everything." goku said.

"Vegeta. Come with me?" goku said as he dashed off as Kai followed suit.

"Have it your way." Vegeta said as he followed the two.
