Life Is Hard

"Are you okay Liu?" Dori asks as she see his fist covered in blood

"Yeah i'm okay, I need to become strong enough to protect us so this isn't anything." Liu says smiling

"Do you really need to be stronger I mean your already stronger than any other 9 year old here and you learned 3 different types of magic which is really rare!" Dori says in concern for Liu

"Yeah, I do we're not just going against kids our age but everyone in the village and kingdom knights, I have to be strong to protect us, everyone in this village abandoned us and wants us in jail for what they see as stealing but we see as surviving, even the other kids who use to be in this orphanage pretend they don't know us when they see us!" Liu says

"Yeah but you don't have to carry all the weight for us! We can be strong too!" Dori says

"I'm not doing this alone though. All of you are here helping me, Su, Koiyo and Daniel learned how to use magic because they wanted to get stronger and all of you got stronger so i'm not doing this alone but with my family." He said

"Yeah, what he said." A little boy named Ali said

"We're a family so we should be there for each other." A little girl name Ginny

"Yeah your right, what was I thinking we are a family and should be there for each other." Dori said

-A few minutes later

"Alright it's time to get food, Ali and Mari will get the fish from the lake, Jay and Daniel will get the fire wood, Su you stay here with Fibo and the twins Mimi and Kimi, the rest come with me to steal from local food stalls got it?" Liu bu says to the other kids

"Yes!" They replied

Liu, Dori, Koiyo and Blex sneaks onto the roofs of the local buildings to scout for the stalls they want to rob from

"Hey what's up with the teams?" Dori asked

"It's to help everyone in every group." Liu replied

"How?" Koiyo asked

"The lake Ali and Mari is going to is close to the orphanage so if anything happens which mostly won't they can quickly tell Su who learned lighting magic to help them, the forest Daniel and Jay went to has small weak beast that barely comes out in the open but if they do Daniel will have the upper hand since he knows how to use fire magic, with that he defend off the beast or sent some wood on fire to limit their movement giving them time to escape and with us, after we get what we need I can distract them while Koiyo uses his wind magic to get y'all out of her to safety." Liu says as they stare at the stall they are targeting that sells bread and some fruit

"Liu, I wanna say how thankful I am to have you as a brother, if it wasn't for you we would have a lot more to worry about but because of you we have less problems so I want to say thank you." Blex said

"Yeah he's right." Koiyo added

"You don't have to thank me,that's what an older brother is for." Liu says with a smile

"Yeah I just wish Chris could see you like this too." Dori says

"Yeah me too but we can worry about that after we get this food okay." He replies

The four of them get prepared for the heist. Dori and Blex walk towards the stall like normal kids when they get there the stall owner stares at them, so Liu runs from the opposite direction and takes a loaf of bread making the owner change his attention to Liu and chase him down, Dori and Blem takes a few loafs of bread and fruit and made a run for it as Koiyo covers them waiting for the chance to get close and use his magic to leave but the wife of the owner told the local guards about the kids and the guards started chasing the kids to get back the stolen food

Liu takes the owner into an alley way and uses his lighting magic to shock him on the back of his neck knocking him unconscious, Liu leaves the alley way and sees his siblings being chased so he quickly ran to them to help but then he released that a knight was with guards, he stood there in shock since he never fought a knight before, he was doubting himself about having a chance to win but he cliched his fist and ran as he could not leave his siblings

"You're under arrest for stealing, please come with us." The young knight said to Dori and Blex

"No, stop!" Liu says as he tries to strike the knight but she shifted her sword blocking Liu fist with the blade of her sword and pushes him back.

"Get out of here!" Liu shouts as Koiyo jumps off the roof and lands beside Dori and Blex and surrounds them with wind and takes them to the sky to escape, the knight uses ice magic to take her to the sky to get the kids but Liu stopped her by breaking her ice with a fist of fire bringing her back to the ground

"No one will touch my family!" Liu yells as he charges the guards he uses his wind to have better movement when fighting with the guards, one of the guards sweeps his feet making him fall leaving him open, they tried to grab him but then he uses a large lighting attack to shock the guards in metal armor putting them to the floor

"He has three types of magic?" The young knight says

She charges for an attack but he uses his wind to push him back but she froze the ground and slid towards him, he covers himself with lighting and covers his fist with flames and charges, when the two clashed they caused a shock wave that blown away all the stalls on the street and continue their fight

The young knight slightly ahead of Liu but he kept trying as he thinks about his family, he uses his lighting to cover a ball of fire which he throws at the knight, she looked confused trying to figure out how to dodge the attack

"If I move out the way it could injure surrounding civilians, if I strike it I'll take impact damage and shock damage which he could use to finish me off." She thinks to herself

After a moment of thinking she uses her ice to make a pillar to block the attack and make more walls of ice to protect the village, after the impact fog covered the street, the young knight looked around to find Liu but suddenly a lighting bolt was shot at her from the side forcing her to lean back to dodge, Liu grabbed her face from the behind then he jumped and kicked the back of her legs forcing her to drop to the floor, Liu put himself on top of her and launched a series of fire fist punches at her later on adding lighting but suddenly she broke into pieces of ice

The pieces of ice gathered behind Liu piecing themselves back together which makes the young knight appear again and kicking Liu down the street then instantly charging him not letting him get up, she thrusts her blade at Liu buy he clapped his hands catching the blade in between them, he uses his lighting to shock her and uses his wind to quickly move behind her aiming for her neck nut suddenly a burst of flame was fired at Liu

The attack was launched by the recovered guards, Liu was caught off guard being unable to dodge it. When he recovers he tries to charge up his own attack when suddenly being hit by the hilt of the young knight sword on the back of his head putting him to the floor. Liu is slowly going unconscious but shocks himself to keep him awake, the knight and guards surround him but he still tries his best to fight

"I must win, I can lose, no I can't, I won't!" He yells as his body is covered in flames. The knight saw and quickly surrounded him in ice out of fear when suddenly an explosion happened inside of the ice which blows everyone back

"What happened" The knight said as she saw Liu laying on the floor unconscious, the guards walk towards Liu to take him in when suddenly a bolt of thunder was shot at them. They look up and see Su who shot the thunder to stop them from getting close to Liu and giving Koiyo enough time to grab Liu and fly off back to the orphanage after picking up Su. The guard makes a small flame in his hand getting ready to throw it at Koiyo and Su but the young knight stopped him

"Let them go. We'll get them next time." She says making the guards fall back

"That kid is strong....is it because he wants to protect his family or is he someone who was born to be a monster?" The knight thinks to herself

"Liu! Liu! Liu!" Dori says as she tries to wake him up

Liu opens his eyes and is shocked to see himself back at the orphanage

"W-what happened?" Liu ask

"That's what I want to ask you! Why did you explode!"Dori asked in shock from the event she witnessed

"I-I don't know." Liu replies

They had a conversation about everything that happened. All the kids where scared thinking Liu might be hurt really bad from the fight but he comforts them and tells them it's time to eat. Atter they all went to bed

-The next morning

"Hey did y'all see the orphan yesterday?" A boy ask

"Yeah, what a loser, he got in a big fight just because he couldn't buy food." A girl replies

"Yeah, him and the other orphans should just die, I mean it's not like anyone wants them here anyways." Another young boy says

"Hey how far are we gonna go." The girl ask as they walk in the forest

"What, you scared?" The boy in the back says

"No! Shut up!" The girl says

"Hey, t-there's blood on the ground!" The boy leading the way says

"Hey look over there, it's a dead beast." The boy in the back says

"A hunter must have been here." The girl says

Suddenly they hear heavy breaths and the sound of sticks being crushed and the sound of wood being hit. They continue to walk and they see a strange figure hitting a tree

"H-hey look at the dead best surrounding this place, d-doesn't it look like they were killed with bare hands instead of weapons." The girl says

They all look back at the figure and see the blood on his hands, the figure stopped and started to turn around, the kids see it's Liu

"Hey do y'all need something? If not then leave before y'all become my next target!" Liu says scaring the kids away
