Drinking Blood

An explosion of aether went off, slightly shaking the room where she resided, but that was it. The room wasn't damaged or destroyed, as if everything in the room was unaffected by the explosion.

At the centre of where the explosion took place sat a beautiful silver-haired woman, void of any wounds that would indicate that she was at the centre of the explosion.

She opened her eyes to see the same luxurious room as before. "I should've been reduced to nothing from the force of the explosion, so why am I not only alive, but there isn't any sign of a wound left on my body?"

"It's simple really, Layla, my daughter. You are immortal, so no matter how much you try to die, you'll never die."

Layla turned her head, seeing Camilla sitting next to her on the bed, causing her to jump up and move away towards the other end of the bed.

"My name isn't Layla and I'm not your daughter."

Appearing beside Layla again, Camilla replied.

"I thought someone such as you would piece it together after seeing your body, but maybe the shock of becoming not only a vampire, but a woman, diverted you from seeing it."

Aether appeared above Camilla's hand, shaping into a mirror, which she brought in front of Layla. Layla looked back and forth between herself in the mirror and Camilla a few times, seeing that they looked exactly the same, with her being a younger version of Camilla.

"I should've died, my body should've blown up, so how were you able to do this to me?"

"Your body did indeed blow up, but that didn't change anything to prevent this, as I grasped your soul before it ascended and dug my fangs into it, turning your soul into that of one that fits my daughter and creating a body to suit your new soul."

"No wonder I have a faint connection to you. I'm basically a newborn vampire straight from your womb."

"That's basically it. Now that the explanation is over, you need to drink blood. If you don't, your power will weaken, which isn't healthy for such a young vampire like yourself."

A maid entered the room with a glass of human blood and handed it to Camilla.

"I'm not drinking human blood."

Layla turned her head away from the glass of blood as she wanted to keep her last bit of humanity left by not drinking the blood of a human.

"This is expected from a vampire with human morals, but that's fine as there is another way, so I'll give you a choice: you either drink human blood or you drink my blood. Which one do you prefer?"

Layla turned her head, looking at Camilla. "If I had a choice either to drink blood or not, I'd choose not to, but since I have no choice, I'd rather drink your blood than a human."

"Good. Now drink all you desire." Camilla moved her hair away from her neck and tilted her head, exposing her neck.

Layla looked at Camilla's exposed neck, sensing the blood traveling through her neck, and lost control. She moved towards Camilla's neck at an immense speed and dug her fangs into the nape of Camilla's neck, sucking the blood out of her.

"You must be very thirsty. Drink until you are full. I won't die even if you drink all my blood."

Camilla had one arm wrapped around Layla's head while the other arm was wrapped around Layla's waist, making sure Layla couldn't back out from eating her fill.

The sweet and wonderful taste of the blood made her want more, as it was something that she had never had in her life, so she couldn't help but keep on sucking Camilla's blood.

Time passed.

When Layla came to, she found herself lying in the covers of her bed, so she sat up, and saw Camilla sitting next to her, waiting for her to wake up.

"How are you feeling after drinking so much of my blood?"

Layla looked down at her body, clenching her fist slightly. "I feel great, like I was reborn, but I still don't feel comfortable drinking blood."

"I thought that mindset would've changed if you tasted blood, but I guess I was wrong." Camilla said. "Since you decided on drinking my blood, then you must remember that the day will come when my blood won't be able to sustain your thirst, and when that time comes, you'll have to drink human blood, either willingly or forcefully."

"I hope that day never comes."

Camilla put Layla in her embrace, which she tried to resist, but was unable to due to the difference in strength.
