Step 1: The Island, the Fortress, And The Duo

[ ~ Chapter • Start ~ ]

In a realm of pure white, a humanoid figure in pure white stood silently, shaking his head left and right in a slow manner.

This person was called The Human God, Man God, Hitogami, Fake Human God, The Spotless, whoever you may call this manipulative ass, is enraged, flabbergasted, and definitely in pure disbelief.

"Why is there only one future I can perceive, and that is nothing but my death!? I've made sure that her heart is broken to pieces!" He yelled, teeth gritting as his foot slammed to the ground.

Elfrieda Boreas Greyrat, possibly the mother of one of the knights who slew him from his visions, had suffered because of his apostle from inside the Boreas Greyrat manor, but it seems she still has the will to go on.

He had never expected this, but it seems like he needed to change his plans.

But a question remains: "Who was the one who kept her from being broken?"

Without him realizing, there was one individual he could not see and perceive even inside his visions. And that person was Hans Orsted

He was completely under his radar, and due to a blessing from his already dead father, the Man God could not sense him, nor the ones near him in a 500 meter radius. As strange as it is, it would take a longer while just for the Man God to figure out that there is an anomaly in the process of becoming his obstacle and greatest enemy.

[ ~ Line • Break ~ ]

Hans sat shirtless at the edge of a beach, a smile adorning his lips as he stared at the blue horizon far away. He and Buddy arrived at this seemingly empty island and stayed here for two months to get used to the knowledge of magic and martial arts that his mother had gained and even trained Buddy on using Touki.

He also grew up considerably, from a teenage 12 year old boy, to a slightly muscular 17-year old, 5'5" tall teenager.

How? He used magic to test out if he could accelerate his growth and control it so that no deformities could be made from his body while meditating under a waterfall or training, with Buddy.

Due to that, his draconic features accidentally became a little more prominent, like his arms which gained visible scales and

his clothing became a little too tight and he had to modify said clothing to fit him.

In just two months, he and his dragon hunted monsters like giant boars twice Hans's size and massive crabs from the ocean and even other dragons foolish enough to encounter the both of them before they trained and rested regularly. (*1)

Now out from his recalling thoughts, he focused on the flying fortress from far away.

"Now what does he want from me?" Hans thought, grumbling in mild anger. How many times has he seen that fortress before now?

Maybe around 5, but that didn't matter. All that matters is if Perugius wants to appear in front of him.

The flying fortress approached closer, and Buddy immediately returned from the forest deep within the island, growling and glaring at the fortress that kept following them everywhere.

"Down, boy!" Hans yelled and Buddy complied, still glaring towards the fortress, which halted after it was close enough.

A blinding light appeared between Hans and Buddy, and when it dimmed, a silver haired individual in grey appeared.

He seemed to look like a regal individual, and his draconic-like feature on his face and his resemblance to Hans flabbergasted Buddy, but what was his purpose?

"Are you the one who's been stalking me for almost two years now?" Hans asked, only for the man to grimace in slight embarrassment.

"Forgive me for this sudden entrance. It is not my intent to do such a thing like this."

An apology was sent from the man, yet Hans barely minded his existence.

"I was just about to take my daily 30 minutes of swimming, so that's fine." A sigh came out of his lips, before a hateful glare replaced his eyes. "So why did you show up just now, Mr. Stalker?! You could've just appeared the first time your castle approached me, but you just sent a fox to stalk on me!"

For a moment, the figure of the man faltered, even for a little bit. He was surprised, but never shown it to the both of them.

It does look like Perugius is going to have a field day with Hans, though.

*1: Training Includes - Swimming, running up a waterfall, fighting each other for fun, a lot of push-ups, sit-ups, squats, deadlifting for minutes, and meditation. (With a dose of gravity magic during certain periods) (Purely for the sake of preparation.)
