26 year's later...
"What's the time now?" asked Lisa.
"6.30 sharp."
"What's taking him so long I mean?" said Lisa with a sigh.
"I donno-- Let me try ringing him once more."
Ahn took the mobile which was resting on the table.
"This is the seventeenth call," said Ahn while dialing the number, "He's not answering."
"Obviously what more could we expect from that annoying little brat!"exclaimed Lisa with a sigh while staring at the outdoor venue.
The outdoor venue already looked glamourous under the evening sky. The euphoric vibe which painted over the skies blended well with the charming outdoor wedding decorations. The rhythms from the soft music enhanced the beauty of the delicious evening. Breezy little winds blew in fragrance from the fresh blooms which made everyone overwhelmed by the hot chocolate weather. Guests wandered here and there, some enjoying beverages and some cheering with wine glasses. Everything was perfect, everything was as planned except the fact that Reom was missing.
"Ahn!--"
A sharp yet a breath taking voice was heard from the direction of the banquet. Ahn and Lisa who were scrolling their phones looked up instantly at the sound of the voice. A young man wearing an entirely black outfit with a black net top from within walked towards the couple. He had an oval face with a wider cheekbone and a narrower jawline. His light brown coloured iris glistened in midst of his almond shaped eyes which added more glamour to his handsome face. He wore a silver hoop in his left ear which glistened competitively with his glass fair skin highlighted by the black outfit he wore. His neatly groomed undercuts revealed his entire handsome face while he was moving towards the couple who was sitting on the outdoor couch.
"It's almost close the about time... most of the guests has already arrived," said the young man as he reached the two who was already looking at him, "Didn't Mr. Cupid show up still?"
"If he did we would have already been in there Jairus!" answered Lisa.
"Darn that guy!" said Jairus while laughing, " Our Mr. Cupid who set you guys up twelve years ago is gone missing-- right on the day of your marriage? Unbelievable!"
"He's punctuality less!" added Lisa with a laugh, "No wonder with the people who rose him up."
Ahn and Jairus quickly glanced at Lisa who was staring at the wedding banquet with a cunning smile worn over her beautiful face.
"Did you just accuse us?" asked Jairus while laughing.
Lisa nodded .
"Ay seriously," laughed out Jairus while looking at Ahn who was laughing too.
"His lateness is worrying me now Jairus," added Ahn with a sigh after a quick change in his expressions to a more disappointed one.
"Chill Ahn!" Jairus tapped on Ahn's shoulder, " You do know what you means to him right -- so would he ever skip your special day?"
Ahn shook his head while looking at the banquet. With a smile Jairus tapped two more times on Ahn's back and sighed directing his head towards the banquet, "Majority of the guest's has arrived... you guys should head in now!"
"Reom?" questioned Ahn as his deep voice sounded more in the tone of desperate hope.
"I'll wait for Reom here and head in once he arrives," answered Jairus.
Lisa looked at Ahn who was now staring at the entrance, desperately waiting for Reom to appear in his sight, "Jay is right Ahn-- we'll first greet the guests and then check back, " said Lisa as she tapped on Ahn's shoulder.
With a nod, Ahn stood up from the couch he was sitting in and sighed as he smiled at both Jairus and Lisa, "Wait for him until the ceremony starts and if he doesn't show up, just come in Jay!" said Ahn as he looked up at Jairus.
"Dont you worry Ahn- He'll be here on time," replied Jairus while tapping the back of Ahn's neck, " Though I'm sure he would end up making either of us hypertensive!"
The three youngsters fell into laughter.
"Let that little brat come today-- I will sue him today and that's for sure!" said Lisa who also stood up from the couch.
"Whoa!"
A cold voice was heard from the entrance. "Seems like I'm the mode of entertainment here!" added the voice.
A smile blended with extreme happiness fell over Ahn's lip as he turned around towards the entrance.
"Reom!" exclaimed Ahn.
Both Lisa and Jairus turned behind in the speed of the light. A young man wearing a pitch black outfit with a white shirt from within appeared through the entrance door. His bright greenish iris glistened to the radiations from the far lights of the yard through the partial darkness of the evening sky. The thick eye brows above his oval eyes were the only darkness to be seen in midst of his fair inverted triangle shaped face. His Roman nose together with the slightly pointed fair chin reflected the light rays emitted from the candles. Two three fringes from his neatly groomed blackish hair fell on the right side of his slightly broad foreheard which partially covered his right eye. He wore a black stud on his left ear which started shining competitively with the lights from the yard as he was moving towards them.
"What took you so long? I already did loose hope," said Ahn while hugging Reom who reached him first.
"I'm sorry Ahn!"replied Reom while hugging his beloved friend, moreover brother. Jairus hugged both his beloved brothers at once.
"Ahn was so worried that you'd come late," said Jairus while messing Reom's neatly groomed hair after the hug.
"I called you hell a lot of times... why didn't you answer?" added Ahn.
"I guess I left my phone home," replied Reom after checking his trouser pockets, Anyways sorry Ahn!"
"No worries, you came now!" replied Ahn who tapped on the shoulders of both the handsome young men.
With a smile Reom turned towards the banquet. No matter how worst he make things go, Jairus and Ahn always use to go easy on him. Their warmth and support was always by his side to forgive his wrong doings and guide him in the right path. However Lisa was the complete opposite. She was always there to replace both their sweet tooth with spicy naggings and bitter word shots. He was always excused by Ahn and Jay but never by Lisa. Her naggings were too cold for the younger to bear, after growing up in the warmth of the two elder boys. Lisa was now standing right in front of the banquet. Her continuous frowns made the bright smile fade away from Reom's lips.
"Lisa!" muttered Reom, "You're looking gorgeous! -ah But why on earth are you standing there with that look on your face? You look more like a witch from The Witches than The Bride tonight!"
Ahn and Jairus jumped into laughter.
"Anything to say?" questioned Lisa while ignoring Reoms complimentary critizism. Her question sounded more like a warning in Reom's ear than a question itself.
"I'm sorry!" tamed Reom replied with a smile, " I'm really really sorry Lisa but I have my reasons! I'll explain all--But after you get married!"
"Oh Married? Yeah! Get married my foot!"
Ahn and Jairus kept laughing even more as Reom made a slight smile.
"I am just waiting for your excuses Reom!" said Lisa who smiled at Reom while frowning.
Reom slowly turned towards the banquet,
"Guess the party's gonna blast tonight!" he said while putting his hand over Jairus.
"A prior shot?" Jairus looked at Reom who was striving hard to avoid the eye contact with Lisa.
"Sure!"
Jairus winked at Reom with a smile as both the handsome men started walking towards the banquet.
Lisa kept watching as the young men moved by passing her, "Seriously?- just look at how he slipped away! Jay's even worst!"
Ahn laughed as he put his arm over Lisa's shoulder, "He's born that way!"said Ahn as he looked at Lisa.
"No! He's raised that way," Lisa added as she looked up at Ahn.
"Ayyy.. we raised him well!" replied Ahn with a smile, "Jay and Reom's more like the Ice cream and the cone! One's nothing without the other!"
"Mmn Yeah!" Lisa replied as she started walking forward towards the banquet,"-and you are the kid who's in crazy love with that ice cream if I'm right?"
The couple started laughing louder as they walked in towards the banquet to greet the guests. It was finally the day they were dreaming of for almost twelve years now. The only thing which changed over the twelve years between them was that they grew up, they look different now. But what ever they had within them for each other remained same until this very day.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
With a sigh Ahn glanced at the outdoor venue after greeting the guests. The dawn was almost over and the bright moon was slowly marking its place. The Ivy leaves and the fresh flowers blended well with the lights from the Edison bulbs which twinkled competitively with the stars sprained over the night sky.
"Where is Jairus and Reom?" asked Lisa as she sat on a couch in the middle of the venue.
Ahn pointed towards another couch in the far ends of the outdoor yard with his eyes.
Jay and Reom were sitting on the couch. The view was so splendid as both the handsome men looked amazing with the wine glasses in one hand. But something was off. They were making different shapes from their other hand.
Lisa turned around, "What are they doing?" she exclaimed with a laugh while looking at the two young boys who were sitting on the couch.
"Jairus is good at that, he makes perfect shapes of animals," said the manly voice of Ahn as he sat next to Lisa.
"Shapes? Is it a game or something?" questioned the confused voice of Lisa.
"Yeah! It's a game we play since childhood, specifically when we wanna waste time waiting for something like. We just make different shapes and the others should guess what it is by looking at the shadow," explained Ahn.
"Ah! Sounds interesting!"
"Yeah though what's funny is -Reom messes up- I mean like always!"
"Messes up in sense? Can't our Cupid make a shape from his huge hands? lmao how come? He's an overall talent?" said Lisa.
"I know! But he can't make good shapes of anything...max like Jairus or leastly even campared to me," continued Ahn, "-- you know already that he hates being defeated right!"
"Yeah!"
"--When he just can't make a proper shape, he starts complaining," said Ahn with a laugh.
"Complaining? Saying?"
"Saying that he made the shape but his shadow's not moving accordingly!" said Ahn as he started laughing.
"What?" exclaimed Lisa with a laugh.
"Yeah! The funny thing is-- he still uses the same complain whenever he feels hard to make a good shape," said Ahn as he wiped off his face with his hands while yawning in midst of the laugh, "just wait and watch them!"
Lisa turned around with a laugh to see what the two young boys were doing. Jairus was laughing loud while following Reom who was already heading towards them.
"Guess the game's over! They are already coming here," said Lisa as she looked back at Ahn who was reading a message which popped up in his mobile phone.
"That's good!" said Ahn, "Mom and Dad wants all four of us near the entrance. We can all go there together now."
Lisa nodded her head as Reom arrived at the couch followed by Jairus.
"Heading somewhere?" asked Jairus.
"Jay!" exclaimed Ahn, "Mom and dad wants all four of us near the entrance!"
"Ah! I guess Rev. Father John's gonna arrive."
"Yeah I think!" said Ahn as he stood up from the couch, " Now that you are already here, Let's go!"
Jairus and Reom looked at each other as they stood behind the couple who were getting ready to move.
"You guy's go ahead Ahn!" said Reom as both Ahn and Lisa looked up at the two men confused.
"Why? Aren't you coming?" questioned Ahn.
"We'll stay here-- just only for today!"replied Jairus who tapped Ahn's shoulder.
"Sorry?" said Lisa who looked confused.
"We will be cursed for tailing you behind even on your marriage!" said Jairus while laughing.
Lisa and Ahn stood frozen as they looked up at each other and the two young men confused for a few seconds.
"What are you telling?" asked Lisa who broke the confused silence, "You've already tailed us for twelve years now-- what's with just today?-and moreover who's there to complain?"
"We were just kidding about the complain thing!" said Reom.
"We mean like it's your special day Lisa," continued Jairus as he smiled at his beautiful friend moreover sister both Reom and himself has, "Both of you already committed yourself for us for all these years. I just barely even remember a single date you guys went alone for over the past twelve years. Like you took both of us where ever you went, fed us with what ever you ate- you never made time for each other-- actually we never did let you spare time for each other!"
Reom nodded in agreement as he tapped the back of Ahn's neck with a smile, "Atleast today Ahn- we wanna see only the two of you in one frame!" added the cold voice of Reom, "Only for today! We'll start troubling you again from tomorrow though!"
Ahn and Lisa stood staring at the two youngsters in silence. The moon had now marked its place. The ocean of stars were twinkling around the pitch black sky as if they were adding best wishes for the couple. The breezy little winds blew in fragrance from flowers blended with the mouth watering smell of the barbecue. The soft music barely heard among the voices of the guests added the final touch to the perfect evening wedding celebration they were dreaming of.
Ahn sighed as he looked at the full moon which was shinning brightly high above in the broad sky.
"Just stop your nonscence, both of you Jay, Reom!"said Ahn as he pulled both the boys from their blazers and started walking towards the entrance.
"Wait Ahn listen," both the boys started blabbering but Ahn paid no attention.
"Lisa we mean..just tell Ahn!"
The beautiful bride paid no attention either as she followed the three boys with a smile towards the entrance.

In the Realms of the Gods
"No clue yet found is really worying me now Mylord," said Goddess Psyche as she looked at God Eros who was looking at the far lands of the Realm of Gods," I have a negative instinct on this!"
God Eros nodded his head as he looked at the floor of the garden yard next to him. Humans were created in the image of God. The shadow is one of the many features, both Gods and humans share in the same image. But it was no more a feature God Eros shared in between the other Gods and Humans.
"We can't take much more time on this Psyche! We have no idea what other side effects it will bring," said God Eros as he started coughing out. Goddess Psyche hurried up to her beloved husband as she looked up at his pale face.
Eros is the most handsome God among the eternal beings. His good looks then or now have had no challenge either from the Realm of Gods above or the human world below. When it comes to good looks, God Eros is always the factor of fame in both the realms. That's how perfect he was been created. However the handsome face of the God was now tinted in pale. His pure white sclera overflowed in red around the sea blue iris, which looked more as the colours were in a competition for dominance. His muscular arms were painted with deep blue rooted veins swollen which ended up in his huge bare hands which were slightly dead blue in colour.
"Eros! Are you okay?"said Goddess Psyche as she kept her hand on his forehead, "Your temperatures are really high Mylord!" she said as she wiped off the sweat off his forehead. God Eros nodded.
Health of God Eros had started to deteriorate ever since the last official vist of Goddess Psyche on Earth. It was after their return did the Gods realize that the shadow of God Eros had been detached from the God's body. Never in the history had a God or a Goddess ever lost his or her shadow and it was with time the Gods realized the side effects it caused. The immortal body of the God started weakening day by day throughout the past couple months (equals to twenty six human years). His powers weren't strong as it used to be and the lack of health effected the God drastically which caused an imbalance on Earth.
"Things are getting worst on Earth Psyche. I don't think I could hold things for much longer!" said God Eros while coughing.
"Neither us Mylord! I'm pretty out of thoughts now!" sighed Goddess Psyche as she looked up at the land of Gods, " We've searched all corners of Earth and looked upon everything we thought was possible to happen. Even in the Realm of Gods!"
"We must have missed something Psyche!" said God Eros while tearing after the cough, "Something we don't think could have happened!"
Goddess Psyche nodded as she looked back at God Eros.
"We better visit back Earth Psyche,"
"Can you Mylord?" questioned the worried Goddess.
"I should!" replied God Eros with a smile.
