Chapter 22

Diane sat behind the table that had the CEO name on it. She has been doing so for almost a week now.She loves the seat because it is bigger than hers.

Jeremy is out of the country on a business trip, she had been handling things on her own for a week now.

It's almost a month since that incident, he had made her stay home doing nothing for more than two weeks.

Now she misses him so much she feels like she would go crazy in the next moment.

She calls Rhea again after getting no response from the last attempt.

Maybe she is busy. She thought as she continued to surf through hundreds of documents before her.

She needs Rhea to help her elevate some of the boredom work had instilled in her.

A girls night out will be a cure.

The door opened revealing the receptionist, she walked in uninvited.

Diane looks up in disapproval, she suddenly remembers the respectful nature of the former receptionist. Her departure is still strange to her.
