 Alexa Morgan curled herself into a ball at the corner of her room. They tied her foot to her bed with a long chain. Bruises cover her whole body, and every time she moves, she feels the pain.
She couldn’t stop crying as she remembered what had happened earlier. Her Dad got mad when he found out she defied his instructions of staying in her room. All she did was pick flowers from the garden, but he still found fault in that. He slapped her so hard her lips had split.
Months later, after thinking her father had finally felt love for her, he turns around again and sells her to the person he owes the most, Max Willies. Will she suffer in his hands or will someone else come and save her?

“Who was it?” Alexa asked after Ethan came back. He locked her door, which had Alexa panicking. 


“Why did you lock the door?” ‘He’s not touching me, right? I’m already bearing his child… shouldn’t that stop him from having sex with me?’ Thinking about doing it right now made her blush. 


“I locked the door, so no one could hear—What were you thinking?” Ethan looked at her with a frown. ‘Why is she blushing?’ He wondered. 


Alexa cleared her throat to cover the embarrassment she felt from her dirty thoughts. “Maybe you should leave. I think there’s nothing else we need to discuss here.” 


“We have a few things to talk about, I need to clarify that this marriage is just for the sake of the baby. Nothing else.” Ethan emphasized each word he said. “Besides, you owe me. You need to pay me for your stay here and for the time I spent taking revenge on Max. So marrying me is another way of paying for your debt.”
