 Alexa Morgan curled herself into a ball at the corner of her room. They tied her foot to her bed with a long chain. Bruises cover her whole body, and every time she moves, she feels the pain.
She couldn’t stop crying as she remembered what had happened earlier. Her Dad got mad when he found out she defied his instructions of staying in her room. All she did was pick flowers from the garden, but he still found fault in that. He slapped her so hard her lips had split.
Months later, after thinking her father had finally felt love for her, he turns around again and sells her to the person he owes the most, Max Willies. Will she suffer in his hands or will someone else come and save her?

“Austin, I need you to take charge here. I know it will be hard for you since Uncle Albert is still in the hospital, but I hope that you can still visit the hideout. Also, keep your eyes on Ina. I can sense she’ll create more trouble for Alexa.” Austin’s brows raised. 


“I noticed you and Alexa are on good terms now. Is this because of the baby? And why does it have something to do with Ina? Why don’t you kick her out instead… if you feel suspicious about her?” Ethan shook his head. 


“I can’t. Ina threatened to expose my identity to our enemies,” Ethan said, which made Austin agree. 


“And don’t forget to visit our prisoner now and then. He still needs medicine for him to be weak. When I come back, I will deal with him again.” He instructed Austin. 


“Alright, I will visit him as soon as I come back from the hospital. I want to play with him anyway since he dared to hurt my father.” Austin grinned evilly. “Take care on your flight, then.” Austin and Ethan bid goodbyes.
