CHAPTER SIXTEEN

“He is the king’s brother.” I spoke in a whisper, unable to hide the shock in my voice.

Dear Lord!

This is too much for me to grasp all at once right now. At this rate, I could feel my whole body furiously shaking, and in no time, my head began to throb. It throbbed so hard that my eyes felt exhausted and my vision was temporally altered.

Gradually, tears welled up in my eyes, ready to drip off at any moment. The people have all narrowed their eyes on me. I wouldn’t dare cry in front of them.

“Take me out of here.” I quickly urged Victoria.

Staying here any longer will not only break but also shred my heart.I don’t think I would be strong enough to withstand the feeling.

“As you wish, your Majesty,” Victoria said, not looking particularly bright herself. She seems to be having pity on me. I could tell from the sad look on her face.

“Make sure you direct her to her quarters.” Unbothered, the king ordered as he desirously returned back to the girls.
