CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

The nightmare was really terrible. In this one, I wasn’t running through the paths of a wild forest being chased by a strange creature but saw myself standing in a haze, in an ancient-looking mansion that appeared to have been abandoned for years, its walls dominated by strings of old cobwebs and plant outgrows.

Different kinds of mysterious birds were singing and flying about. Amongst them is the mysterious crow bird that represents evil.

I was in fear, scared of the strange environment that I had found myself in. In no time, everything surrounding me began to turn my eyes around. My head spun resultantly. I fell to the ground, losing so much strength.

I struggled to run away, but the fastest that my legs could go was only a single step away. I knew I was screaming, bellowing at everyone that crossed my mind, but nothing was emanating from my mouth.
