 Reese opened her eyes slowly, her head hurt slightly so she squinted her eyes. 


Someone was touching her hair, smoothening it with care. When her eyes adjusted to the light, she found her mom staring down at her with a worried expression. 


"How are you feeling sweetheart?" Her mom asked and Reese thought for a moment. 


Her mom sighed, she was so worried and it was visible on her face. 


"Ethel said something abnormal happened to you...that you were bleeding for no actual cause and there are two visible dots at your neck as proof." 


Once Matilda was done talking, she waited for Reese to explain. 


 "I was bitten," Reese didn't hide it this time around, she just wanted everything to end for good. 


"A v-v..." It would sound weird if she told her mom, she would look at her like she had gone insane. But she ended up still saying it.
