49: IT WASN'T EASY FOR THEM

Far away in a cold, dark and gloomy mansion, shards of glasses were everywhere on the floor and in the innermost part of the building was a pitiful sight.

A pale skinned man in black clothing had gathered a young lady in his arms as he sat on the floor in silence. Not even the sound of a pin could be heard.

Blood tears had stained his smooth face due to how much he had cried.

There was a white envelope in her right hand and he gently pulled it out from her hold before bringing it close to his face.

He closed his eyes and the envelope was suddenly engulfed in a black smoke. When the smoke faded away, the envelope was gone.

He gracefully stood up with Reese's lifeless body in his arms as he walked out of the parlor room and stepped into the quiet and calm wide passage.

A dull light shone through the open windows and cleared away some of the darkness. Gentle breeze blew in and the white and black translucent curtains danced slowly.
