A year later,
Lydia sat by her lonesome atop a boulder, she breathed rhythmically and closed her eyes, and felt the world around her. The chirping of the birds and the howling of the wind were just some of the various sounds that intermingled among themselves and formed the tune of nature itself.
Lydia slowly tuned out all the noise around her, right now she was the only being to exist, there was nothing else that mattered.
Small sparks of lightning slowly spread across her body, she opened her eyes that glowed in a deep shade of blue, and she slowly got up and jumped down from the boulder.
‘Crack’
A small crater formed below her, she took hold of the spear that floated around her, and upon touching the spear, the lightning streaks that danced around her body spread over to the spear like an infection.
She stretched the spear backward and aimed at the cloud-filled sky.
‘Swish’
