Chapter 66- Heal Yourself

"How is she?"

He sounded downcast and drained but Napoleon didn't point it out.

"Withdrawn, always like to be alone in her own world."

A breezy sigh left his lips and he rubbed his forehead and eyes in tiredness.

He was stressed out and yes he brought it on himself to distract his mind from thinking about his fiancee for a while.

He buried his head in work with the hope that she would come around but she didn't...not even by mistake.

"Where is she?"

"Her room," Napoleon swiftly answered with his eyes worriedly looking at Theophilus.

"You should take a break."

Napoleon insisted shortly after he gave a reply regarding Treasure.

Theophilus' dull eyes stared up at Napoleon for a little longer before nodding his head with his lips set in a thin line. Getting up, he spoke;

"I've neglected my duty as a guardian," he smiled sadly after saying that.

He really needed rest, he wanted to shut his mind from thinking and just rest.
