Chapter 76- The Net

He stood in front of his room's mirror like a statue and his expression was blank like an empty notebook.

The news shook him to the core but he didn't want to crumble.

Yes, he still believed that God would make a way for him.

"Sir, your luggage is set," a matured lady informed him while standing at a respectable distance with a smile.

He turned his head sideways as he thought of what to say.

"Kindly take it to the car and let the driver know we'll be going to the airport." He spoke politely and the woman nodded with a 'Yes Sir' before taking the luggage and heading out of the room.

As she left the room and shut the door gently behind him, tears clouded his eyes and threatened to fall but he instantly blinked them back. His life was crumbling.

At this point he didn't know what to do anymore. On one hand was his business and on the other was Treasure, the girl he took under his care.

'What ruined my reputation?'

'... Treasure ruined it.'
