Goosebumps raised throughout my body at the sight of my own hand. Claws replaced my nails and my normally clean hand was now covered in pure white fur. I frantically crawled around the hut to look for a mirror in spite of the vigorously flowing power making my steps heavy. Muddleheaded, I moved to the end of the room and found a large mirror before me. The view in the mirror was one that I could not believe.

"I am so happy to see you both together!" Zendaya smiled, her thumb gently caressing Marcel's cheek as tears welled up in her eyes.

Marcel, overwhelmed with emotions, asked softly, "You remember me?"

Tears streamed down Zendaya's cheeks as she spoke. "A mother can be everything but forgetful. You both are the most precious gifts of gods to us. I am sorry to have left you both out alone."

Her voice quivered with guilt as she touched Marcel's face and Cassiel's arms. She couldn't help but blame herself for all the time her sons had needed her but she wasn't there for them. The weight of her absence weighed heavily on her heart.
