As the group cautiously advanced through the chamber filled with corpses, Marcel kept his eyes fixed on the faint ball of light. Its glow flickered and waned, becoming increasingly unstable. It pulsed one last time before fading completely, leaving them standing in almost total darkness.

Marcel came to a sudden halt, causing the others to bump into him. With the light gone, they were plunged into eerie, pitch-black silence.
