The heavy atmosphere returned. Actually, the atmosphere was always heavy, it was just getting heavier. And once again, the only sounds left in the room were sounds of cutlery clinking on plates and stabbing into meat.
Savine was the first to finish the meal. She cleaned up after herself neatly and got up. Her eyes took a glance at everyone around and then she started speaking.
"I was kinda excited for this meeting," she began. "But I suppose it's too early for us to warm up to each other. Though, I would like to clarify certain things here. For as long as I stay here, I'll do my best to serve the Sovereignty's people. I'll serve my time to better the lives of the poor and needy, and transform the capital into the greatest, most advanced city in the entire world.
