82. Facing his problems

"Alright. Let's get going then." Derek said. "Just leave them here and let's go. I will send someone to come for them later." He added when he saw Charlotte picking up one of the bags.

"Oh, alright. Let's go, Rory." Charlotte placed her hand on Rory's back and moved with her.

Derek held the door for them. Rory tried as much as she could to avoid his gaze. She had recieved enough teasing from her mother. She didn't want to call for another round.

They slowly made their way to the parking lot. Derek was walking unusually slow this time, which made Rory and Charlotte wonder. But then it dawned on them. He didn't want them to walk fast because of Rory.

Rory blushed with the thought. This was too much for her. 

They got to the parking lot and Derek led the way till they stopped by a black sedan. Derek ordered the guy who was by the car to go and get the bags from the ward and the guy quickly jogged back inside the building.
