CHAPTER 10

Dear readers, I will continue to update the story as soon as possible. But I'm making a few changes. The point of view will no longer be 1st person but 3rd person. I hope you'll enjoy.

So, as time passed, it was time for gym class. Although it was called gym class, it was actually like a lacrosse class, the only thing the coach made other than lacrosse was running for lacrosse as a warm-up.

Everyone changed their clothes, including Damian, but Damian didn't wear the bodyguards of that lacrosse suit, he just changed the clothes. Everyone else began to wait for the coach on the field, while Damian sat down on the benches by the bench.

"Yes guys, we're getting off to a quick start today. Argent, take the long, you're on the defense."

"Coach, my back hurts right now so I guess I won't be able to." Damian said with a fake expression of pain on his face.

"Argent, your back gets worse if you don't move, that's why we exercise to stay healthy so come on."

"But-"

"No, there's no room for buts around here, take that stick and show us a good defense."

"Sigh..." Damian knew it was pointless to talk to the coach and make excuses, but he still tried, but in the end Damian had to go to practice anyway.

Damian donned the armor of his lacrosse suit and grabbed his long lacrosse stick and crossed to the defense line in front of the goal. The thing to do was now everyone take turns trying to beat Damian and score a goal where Danny was the goalkeeper.

[Instant Quest: Make a successful defense.]

(Description: As a defender, don't let anyone pass you and score goals.)

[Reward: 20 Points, Rising in the eyes of the coach, Increasing popularity by girls.]

[Penalty: To be humiliated in front of everyone.]

Suddenly a system quest appeared in front of Damian.

'Tch! Why it has to be this!' Damian thought.

"Is he always like this?" Allison asked to Lydia and Anna.

"Well I don't know, I've never paid attention to lacrosse before." Anna said.

"Yeah he always like this. He always makes excuses for coach, but in the end he still has to play, of course, then he deliberately throws himself on the ground and says he is injured and comes back." Lydia said.

"Is he bad at sports?" Allison asked.

"Well we don't know I've never seen him doing sport." Lydia said.

"Aren't you two are siblings why you don't know?" Anna asked.

"Namely, we travel a lot because of our family's job. A few years ago my father and Damian moved here and I lived elsewhere with my mother. A few days ago, my mother got things right, so we decided to move here completely." Allison explained.

"It must be hard right?" Anna said.

"It wasn't much. We spent a lot of time together during the summer holidays, and even though there were only a few hours between our births, he always makes me feel like he's a few years older than me, and it pisses me off."

"It's actually pretty weird knowing someone like Damian, who always had a dull face at school, acted like that." Lydia said.

But then

*Thud!!

Suddenly there was the sound of someone hitting the ground hard and all three of them looked at the field and were shocked.

Damian was standing and Jackson was lying on the grass. Both the players, the audience and the coach were stunned. Jackson, known as the team captain and the best of the team, collided with Damian like a fly on the windshield of the car, but eventually collapsed to the ground.

'I thought I'd test my body, but Jackson's crash didn't even shake me.' Damian thought.

"I knew it! You have a secret potential! Yeah guys go ahead and show you can get pass this man!" Coach said to encourage others.

But in vain, each of them crashed into Damian as if hitting a wall. And now it was Scott's turn.

"Okay Mccall, I don't expect much from you, at least don't hurt yourself."

Scott's yellow aura began to rise.

'Is this idiot planning to transform during the day! Sigh... So troublesome! You wanted this.' Damian thought.

Damian started using the cursed energy to strengthen his body.

*Whoosh

Scott rushed towards Damian.

*Crash!

Scott crashed into Damian, and after a truly disastrous crash, the result was Scott slumped to the ground.

"You can't control yourself and that gets you into trouble. Now go straight to the locker room and get under the cold water immediately." Damian said in a whisper that only Scott could hear as he took Scott by the hand and lifted him up.

"I can still-"

"Go. Now. Or I'll tell Allison what you are."

"Fine."

"Coach, I think Scott hurt his leg."

"What?! Sigh... Okay Mccall go." Coach said.

Scott left the field and went to the shower in the locker rooms. Meanwhile, the lesson continued and everyone tried but failed.

[Quest Completed]!

'Fiuv... Finally it's over.'

"All right, Argent, you'll be the shooter this time, let's see if you're as good at shooting as you are at defense."

[Instant Quest: Every shot is a goal.]

(Description: Score goals without missing any of your shots.)

[Reward: 20 Points, Rising in the eyes of the coach, Increasing popularity by girls.]

[Penalty:-]

'At least there is no penalty for it.' Damian thought.

This time, Damian took the shorter Lacrosse sticks and got in line. Everyone would take a shot and then move to the back of the line so everyone would try to pass the defense line by line and shoot into the goal.

It's Damian's turn. Damian quickly rushed into the goal and dodges the defender with ease then it was as if time slowed down for Damian so he could clearly see where Denny was going to move and one shot and one goal.

So everybody took turns shooting. Every time Damian scored, it was a goal.

[Quest Completed]

"Argent, I have some news for you. You are the captain of the next game."

"Wha-?!"

I don't know how often I write or how many chapters I write, it is not clear, I will write as long as inspiration comes.
