CHAPTER 12

"W-werewolf?! How is that even possible!"

"You were attacked by a giant creature with red eyes in the forest recently and you got a bite-like wound on your body, right?"

"How do you know?" Scott asked.

"You were bitten 1-2 days before school started, right?"

"Yes."

"I think the voice I heard in the forest was yours. Anyway, Scott, werewolves, vampires, witches etc. real. And you were bitten by a werewolf that night."

"How can you be so sure?" Scott asked.

"Well because only werewolves can transform humans with a simple bite. Witches are born, so you can't turn into a vampire. Turning into a vampire is something else entirely, you don't need to know now. Also, if you were a vampire, we would find your ashes on the field when you went out into the sun. Also, your inexperience and lack of self-control gave you away."

"So is everybody here same? I mean werewolf?" Scott asked.

"Well not me but they are." Damian said, and Anna and Derek's eyes lit up.

"Whoa! How did you do that?!" Stiles shocked.

"Because we are werewolves." Anna answered.

"An you too." Derek said to Scott.

"So what are you?" Scott asked.

"Me? I'm just a human. Oh also a hunter."

''Normal? You are not normal at all.'' Derek and Anna thought.

"Hunter? What hunter?"

"What else could be? Werewolf hunter but I'm not official. My family has hunted werewolves for centuries, from generation to generation. So don't think about approaching Allison or you will end up badly. Especially my grandfather prefers to split werewolves in half, so if you meet one day, run your tail between your legs."

'I'm going to get rid of Gerard and Kate, but he doesn't need to know that.' Damian thought.

"What kind of family is that?!" Stiles shocked with Scott.

"That's why we are here. To teach Scott to control properly. Scott you have to learn to hide that you are a werewolf and control your emotions or you will be killed by either my father, my aunt or my grandfather."

"Wait a minute, I didn't do anything, why should I be killed, and I didn't become a werewolf of my own accord! I'm even looking for ways to get back to my old self." Scott said.

"Scott, you will be disappointed, but there is no cure. Once you're a werewolf, there's no going back."

"No turning back? There has to be a way."

"There is none." Derek said.

"Sorry for you but as I know there is no cure." Anna said.

"You should also consider yourself lucky. If your body had rejected the bite, you would already be dead, so right now you have two choices. First, you learn to be a werewolf here, and you'll help us protect Beacon Hills while we train you not to get killed. Or you don't get the training, we part ways here and then arrange a good funeral for your body that was probably killed by the hunters or the alpha that bit you. Let me tell you, if you choose the second option, you will not get any help or advice from us, you will be completely on your own."

"Hey isn't that too much? I mean Scott is just turned into werewolf and now you want him to make choice like this." Stiles.

"Life is full of choices, and every choice shapes our lives, big or small. So right now Scott has to make a choice, and it's a pretty simple one. Scott, do you want to live or die? Or let me ask you, do you want to be on our side and increase your chances of survival, or you will live as a werewolf without knowing anything and lose control and kill people, or you will be found and killed by hunters. The choice is yours and it's actually a pretty simple choice."

"Do I've to kill people if I be with you guys?" Scott asked.

"Probably not. I can't give you a definitive answer after all, I can't see the future, but my goal is also to get through this at least without too many deaths and to make sure none of you are killing anyone else."

"If you are saying the truth then I accept." Scott said.

"Well then, Derek, you train Scott. Stiles come, we have business with you."

"What? Why me?"

"Because you are the weakest among us, and a pack is only as strong as its weakest member. First we will strengthen your body."

"Wait aren't yo human too so aren't you weak too?"

"Pfff... That was funny. Let me show you." Damian said.

Then Damian walked in front of a tree and suddenly punched the tree. While everyone was waiting for Damian's hand to be broken, what they saw was Damian's arm had pierced the tree.

Everyone was stunned when they saw Damian's strength.

"So what do you think now am I weak? By the way I didn't hit with all my strength."

"Wait you can't be human, how the hell did you do that?!" Stiles shocked.

"There's a lot in the world you don't know, Stiles. Oh, by the way, Stiles, make sure you add Vervain when you're drinking tea etc." Damian said with laugh.

"Why is that again?!"

"For your protection against vampires. They're not in Beacon Hills yet as far as I know, but you'd better start now. There are a few ways you can protect yourself from vampires, at least for us humans. Your home first. Vampires cannot enter the house without being invited, and the person who invites must be the owner of the house. The second method is the vervain I mentioned. Vervain is poisonous to vampires, and if it's on a human, they can be protected from Vampires' ability to mind compulsion, but if you consume it, then your blood will be poisonous to vampires and you'll be protected from mind compulsion abilities."

"Fine I'll do that. I don't want to be a vampire's puppet."

So the group practiced for several hours. While Derek was teaching Scott, Damian was training Stiles for bodybuilding, while Anna was giving Scott advice. Also out of sheer curiosity, Damian checked to see if Stiles had an affinity for the cursed energy, but the result was zero. Stiles had no affinity for cursed energy.
