Mysterious Entity
Around James, the soul power on his left side was pitch black and the soul power on his right side was murky white.
"What the fuck? How did my soul power disperse and why are the two different shades of colors for my soul power?" James cursed as looked around his room. The deep black fog seemed to be in opposition to the white murky soul power. All James could do was watch on as the seemingly battle of domination occurred between the two patches of fog. After all the stress, James' mental power was reduced to a negligible amount, it was already a miracle that he was able to stand on his two feet.
'Why is my eyes heavy at this moment? What the fuck is going on with my soul power? I am feeling very sleepy.....' James said as he dropped onto his bed as went into a deep sleep.

All these notifications from the system rang as James slept through the night.
Around 5 am, James woke up he looked around his room.
" What the fuck happened here? Did a storm blow through my room?" James said as he looked around the room. Currently, in his room, a section of his stuff had vanished into nothingness whiles the quality of his stuff in another section had shot up the roof. The quality of this stuff jumped from 2000 dollars worth to a 20000 dollars a piece.
" If I can remember correctly, somehow yesterday my soul dispersed into two different shades of colour" James couldn't quite put his finger on it. Normally, the change in the color of one's manifestation of their magic wouldn't be an issue, since magic users could gain uncanny abilities to their elements upon coming into contact with fortuitous encounters but in James' case, this was way different.
Even after the dispersion of the soul power into shades, they both got different characteristics and maybe coincidentally were in opposition with each other. It was like they were both fighting for domination.
''Haaa, I thought I have gotten ahead and solved the problem of possessing some mysterious power, and here comes another one'' James sighed as rubbed his forehead.
'Let me see what the system has to say James said as he called out the system.
'System, I need a little help here'

'Is that all you can tell me?' James said as he decided to check out his first forged item. Lying on the bed was a gem-like stone with some kind of (pushy power buttony stuff). James picked up the stone as he waited for the system's usual item identification introduction. He hoped that this item will perform the function he intended it to.

1) It helps in the training of a Mage in the real world without the presence of mana.
2) Reduces the difficulty of awakening and creating elemental skills by 75%.
3) It can facilitate and affect the game world and the real world. The soul world can help transport items between both worlds in case of the future absence of the system.
Note: The soul world can only hold two individuals per session. The number of individuals will increase when the host's soul power increases by a margin. This artifact is linked to the host's soul and is therefore evolvable.]
"Oh shit !!! I got more than I expected. I just
wanted an artifact that could prepare Lisa before she steps into the game. I was expecting about 25% difficulty off when using the artifact but 75 fucking percent is a major step up. With this Lisa could have a bunch of skills even before she joins the game. This will create a large disparity between her and the other players. Currently from the forums, other players have just created simple skills such as Dash and many others. This a big win for me."
James said out loud as he was really in a good mood about the possibility of Lisa getting stronger than ever.

'System do you think this entity has something to do with the buffed-up stats of the soul world?'
[Ding !!! This is a possibility because the sharp rise in the quality of the Soul World occurred when the host entered into his enlightened state. The black miasma came out when the host entered that state. It might therefore be the reason] The system said out to James after carrying out its analysis of the situation that happened last night.
'Anyway it helped me big time, I just hope that it is not something negative that will bring harm to myself and those around me. I will just forget about the disappearance of my stuff and how the other stuff also got its quality improved. I hate this mysterious power bullshit so much, this has rendered most of my past life knowledge useless. Now it seems I cannot follow the original magic system set up millions of years ago since more complications keep cropping up.' James thought as he was once again reminded about not having any information about his soul power.
'But after all today's saga, I think the most important thing is that Lisa will be able to get stronger and have a better foundation. This should give her a chance to protect herself when I am not around.' James thought as he headed straight for the shower.
An hour and thirty minutes later, James had finished his preparation and was ready to get the move on to college. The day before, he went shopping and got some change of clothes for Lisa and him. He needed to look dashing enough for his princess.
"Huh? Lisa, what are you doing down there?" James said as he descended the staircase.
''Ahhh, Big brother. I am trying to prepare something for you before you go to college. I always thought that you won't go back because of me but..." Lisa was saying as she started sniffling as she tried to hold back her tears.
"Haha, don't cry. I am going because of you, I promised that I'll be there for you right?" James questioned her as he patted her.
"Yes, Big brother." Lisa dried her tears up as she gave James a sweet smile.
''Haha, there is my cute sister." James chuckled as he saw Lisa smiling.
'' Lisa I have something to tell you." James said to Lisa in a serious tone.
''Okay, big brother"
"I will be getting you the VR POD so that you could start playing the game next week. I plan to enter the game tonight after I am back from school and I'll be getting some extra money to make the purchase a possibility."
"Yay!! Big brother is the best. My classmates started playing during the vacation. We are lucky to meet the age requirement." Lisa said in excitement as she anticipated entering the game.
"I have something that could help you become stronger faster. I have something to tell you. Do you promise not to tell anybody? " James asked Lisa.
"Yes, Big brother I promise not to tell anyone." Lisa said solemnly as she steeled her resolve to keep this secret for her big brother.
''Alright. Don't freak out. In the Zero Evolution Online game, you know we can use magic to fight bad guys right?"
"Yes, I know that" Lisa responded to him.
"Alright. I want you to know that after some time, we will be able to use those powers in the real world. Don't ask me how I know, just trust me. Therefore, I want you to start some light training in the real world to help you prepare your skills for the game before everyone will be able to use their powers in the real world. If I have free time I'll be training you regularly to help prepare you. Do you believe me? " James asked Lisa as he expected some skepticism in her voice but unexpectedly Lisa nodded unhesitatingly.
" Yes. I trust big brother very much. Lisa will work hard to protect big brother." Lisa said with unfathomable trust and determination as she puffed up her chest and promised James.
"Don't worry Lisa, I just want you to become strong. I will protect you myself." James said this with a normal tone but conviction was written all over his face.
"Alright. Thank you for the breakfast, I will be leaving now. The instructions on how to use the artifact are written here. Just start normal exercises for now." James said as he handed the gem-like stone(Soul World) and a manual with the operating instructions. After this discussion, James took public transport as he headed straight to school.
20 minutes later, James arrived at the front gate of the North Institute.
'Oh no, not her again? Am I a protagonist in some kind of novel?' James questioned himself as someone he knew headed towards him.
