"Mr. Malfoy, let me get this straight, you broke your hand by punching Mr. Quinn?" Madam Pomfrey asked, looking quite fed up with my explanation.
"Twice," I corrected.
The look on her face told me she was not amused. "Well, I'd suggest that you not do it a third time, as you clearly didn't get the hint the first two times," she said rather sassily.
I just rolled my eyes but stayed quiet as she performed a few spells on me.
"Madam Pomfrey, Snape sent me to give you more pepperup potion," a girl with bright blue hair chirped as she entered the room.
"Yes, thank you Miss Reign," Madam Pomfrey says.
Reign, the blue haired girl, looked at me. "Oh, I didn't think I'd be meeting you yet, Wolf!"
'Oh no she didn't,' I thought sassily. I raised up my hands into fists and replied, "Fight me," in a serious tone.
She just giggled and smiled. What was up with her? "Oh no, he would be very upset if I hurt his favourite." She grinned.
I just glared at her.
How dare she call me weak?! She didn't say it out loud but, she was definitely thinking it if she thought she could hurt me! As if she could read my mind, she rushed to reassure me, "Oh, do not be angered. I do not think I'm stronger than you-"
I cut her off with a snort, earning a smack on the head from Madam Pomfrey.
"You are cleared to go, Mr. Malfoy, and please for Merlin's sake, do not engage in any more fights," Madam Pomfrey told me sternly.
I just nodded, knowing that I would most likely not follow her instructions. I grabbed my bag and walked out of the Medical Wing.
Reign quickly followed after me.
I ignored her as I went down the stairs.
After a few minutes of silence she spoke up, "What do you think of werewolves?"
I stopped walking and turned to face her.
Werewolves?
"I guess they're alright," I replied cautiously, not knowing where this was going.
She looked thoughtful before speaking again, "You are one, right? Or maybe that hasn't happened yet."
I was confused, why did she think I was a werewolf? "I'm afraid, Miss Reign, you are incorrect. I am one hundred percent human." I replied, this time more formal.
She just nodded.
We continued to walk in silence.
That silence did not last long.
"Fenrir!"
I nearly threw myself off the tower in reply to the sudden shout.
Quinn finally caught up to us after a moment.
"Does God hate me or something?" I muttered, annoyed with my life at this point.
"Nah, God just favours me more," Quinn teased.
I just rolled my eyes, wishing I could punch him again.
"You two are such a cute couple," Reign sighed.
I, like the dignified Pureblood I was, fainted.
