Before I knew it, the end of my first year arrived. It didn't surprise me when Quirrellmort was exposed, nor did it surprise me when Gryffindor won the house cup. I knew that Dumbledore was biased, and I honestly expected it. However, there was one thing I needed to do, apologize to Milo. I had tried over the past few months, but he had ignored me. I was hopeful that maybe he'd hear me out. However, I didn't get much of a chance before Draco had pulled me into a compartment with him and his friends. I nodded politely at Blaise and ignored the others as I took a seat. I mostly ignored their conversation, save for a few short comments.
At least, until Nott decided to ask me a question. "Hey Fen, you weren't that surprised about You-Know-Who were you?"
I rolled my eyes. "Well, it was obvious to anyone with two eyes. He wasn't very subtle after all," I replied, a malicious smile on my face.
He paled while Draco rolled his eyes.
I chose this moment to change the conversation.
"Say, Draco, Mother told me that you decided to try out for Quidditch next year, begged her to buy the whole team new brooms. Sounds a bit like bribery," I noted, enjoying watching his face go red.
Before he could respond, Harry, bless his soul, opened the door. "There you are Fenrir, I need help with Potions homework, and Ron just said that the sun is a planet," he said nervously.
It took a minute to process what he said, but once it did, I exploded. "RON SAID WHAT?!" I was in the compartment in minutes, Harry following behind like a lost duckling. As soon as I opened the door, I glared straight at Ron, letting him know that he did something wrong.
"I promise I didn't mean to break 'Moines book!" He said, guessing the wrong reason.
I looked at him for one second then yelled, "RONALD WEASLEY, YOU ARE A BLOODY IDIOT!"
