In a dark corner in the far edge of the universe, there were several men and women. Each having auras so terrifying that mortals would die just by being close.

These are the most powerful beings of the universe. Besides each other, nothing could threaten their existences.

They didn't know this yet but this belief...would change today.

They were all frowning, looking at a certain direction. If a mortal looked in the same direction, they would only see darkness. However, these men and women were not mortals, they were gods. They could see the space vibrating and distorting in a way even they could not do. Something very powerful was causing such event.

"Senior Ten Steps, did you manage to find something?"

The question was asked by a white haired woman using a long blue dress that even though was big and loose, still failed to hide her unbelievable curves. She had a veil covering the lower half of her face, but it could not hide her beauty. However her intimidating icy-blue eyes would freeze anyone having improper thoughts in their tracks.

"Nothing. Whatever is causing this clearly has a much greater dominion over space than me."

A bald old man with a beard so long that it reached his bellybutton answered. He had a black staff in his left hand that shone in some points as if they were stars.

The answer only deepened everyone's frowns. Old Man Ten Steps was publicly known as the expert with the deepest knowledge over space. Who could create this phenomenon if even Old Man Ten Steps couldn't gleam any clues?

Their thoughts were interrupted by a loud laugh.

"Hahahahahaha. Isn't it obvious? If it's caused by someone or something with greater dominion over space than that old man, it could only be the Heavens! This means a heavenly treasure is being born!"

Everyone looked at the laughing man as if they were looking at an idiot. He was a tall and lean man. He neither lacked muscles nor had them in excess, one could only describe his build as "perfect". His red hair flowed until his shoulders and their tips glowed in golden. His aura was simultaneously royal and savage, a combination that charmed women and intimidated men.

Noticing the looks he was recieving the man felt like he made another major blunder.

"W-what? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"We are just looking at an idiot lizard that is only capable of thinking about treasures and women."

The red haired man looked at the woman who said that. She was a tall woman using tight clothes that showed that her body was both toned and curvaceous. Her bronze-red skin and pong silvery white hair only further increased her beauty.

The red haired man exploded in anger.

"What's wrong in thinking about treasures and women?! Dragons are meant to hoard treasures and make babies. This only proves that I'm in good health. Speaking of it, Asura Matriarch... You look even more beautiful since the last time I saw you."

The bronze skinned lady rolled her eyes and started ignoring him.

"It can't be a Heavenly Treasure. There aren't any of the obvious signs of one forming. There's no gathering of Qi nor any phenomenon except the space distortion."

Said the icy woman.

The red haired man realized his mistaked but his skin was thick enough to pretend he never said anything. The others continued to ponder and frown.

Suddenly, from the distortion surged a person. It was a young looking man carrying an axe. He looked heavily battered as if he just survived a calamity. His axe had some cracks and his robes were torn in many places and also dyed in his blood.

Even injured, the man possessed an aura that threatened the present experts.

While he was observing them, they also observed him.

They never met this man before. They lived for hundreds of millions of years and knew every expert at their level. But this man was an unknown. This was not possible.

Raising his alertness, Old Man Ten Steps asked. "Who are you?"

The man in question, instead of answering, opted for scape.

"Don't let him escape! We must capture him alive, he surely has the answers we are lookig for. Deep Scarlet Dragon Emperor, Asura Matriarch engage him directly. Old Man Ten Steps and I will provide support. The others keep an eye in the distortion in case anything else shows up."

"Do you think you can order me around woman?!"

The Dragon Emperor turned to the icy woman as he yelled.

While chasing the man, Asura Matriarch said. "This is not the time, lizard. Just follow Lady Icemist's instructions."

The Dragon Emperor wanted to complain more, but it truly wasn't the time. An unknown expert came out of nowhere and his aura showed that his strength, when in peak state, was possibly higher than theirs.

Old Man Ten Steps manipulated space and appeared in front of the newcomer, blocking his escape.

"Could you wait a bit young man? I'm quite old, you see... I can't run as fast as youngsters like you."

Realizing he couldn't escape, the man decided to attack. Old Man Ten Steps bought enough time to Dragon Emperor, Asura Matriarch and Lady Icemist to arrive sealing the escapee's fate.

After a fierce battle he was successfully captured alive, however both Dragon Emperor and Asura Matriarch were wounded, while Lady Icemist suffered minor injuries and Old Man Ten Steps was nearly exhausted.

Every expert was shocked by the man's resistance. If injured he had enough strength to do that to four of the strongest people in the universe, how strong would he be in perfect condition?!

Before they could begin the interrogation, the distortion opened again. This time, however, no one came through, but an aura that petrified everyone present came from the distortion. Whatever it was, it could easily end their existences.

Fortunately, the distortion apparently couldn't bear the potency of the aura and dissipated, allowing them to breathe a sigh of relief.

The man's information grew in importance once again. After all, that aura signified not only danger, but also opportunity for more growth for them, that though there was no way to further strength.

It was only after they interrogated the man who came through the portal through various means that they discovered that the entire universe was in grave danger.
